Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Monday to you all! What a great day the Lord hath made; so let us rejoice in it…and even more, let us focus on the One who makes everything beautiful in its time…that we may be lifted high above the despair that Satan attempts to take us down with…Amen!!
As we start another new week, there may be moments where we just can’t escape the difficulties of this life…moments when we feel as if we are being bombarded by evil. I don’t know how you feel at times; but there can be moments, when it seems as if the problems of this life have a way of raining down upon my shoulders, which truly can make my life feel out of control at times. Moments like these can become darkened storms; that can make us feel hopeless and alone…even to the place, where we feel as if the sun won’t shine again.
Now isn’t the time to allow the darkness of these storms to overtake us; but rather, now is the time to bring darkness to light and expose the deceptive ways of Satan; that we may bring him to his knees and make him powerless and weak.
A Bible verse that has encouraged me greatly, during the darkened moments of my life is found in John 1:5…and we read… “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
I will never forget the past moments of darkness that I once walked through…a darkness that seemed as black as night; but on the other hand, I will never forget the moments, when Jesus brought me out of that darkness. In fact, I remember the time, when I found myself sitting hopelessly alone in those moments of darkness…ready to give up; that is until someone walked into those darkened moments…someone who was even greater than darkness. As His presence illuminated those darkened moments of my life; it was as if the darkness was now cowardly moving back, as its evil works were now being exposed. That day, I truly experienced a powerful presence, as I had never experienced before…and as Christ’s light shone brightly into the darkened moments that had attempted to take me captive…those darkened moments were now unable to overcome me…praise God!!
One thing I know for sure…we cannot have an attitude with Jesus; but we can have one with Satan…and the minute we choose to fight back and allow the light of Christ’s presence to step into these moments of darkness, rather than wallowing in them; that is when Satan will truly become powerless in our lives.
Today, can you say that you are being bombarded by evil, as one thing after another attempts to take over your life? If so, may I encourage you to not remain stuck in the muck and mire of that darkness; but instead…stand up and expose the works of Satan and let Jesus walk into these moments and bring the darkness to light; that you may be set free from darkness…to once more walk in the light of a new dawn…one that will keep you sheltered and protected by Jesus…Amen!!
Well…I have truly enjoyed this time with you today and I pray that we will find the strength through Christ, to always remain standing, during the difficult times of darkness; that we may continue to connect with the One, who can expose these works of darkness, while bringing Satan powerless to his knees…Amen!!
As we close our time together today, I pray that you will have a great Monday…and a great start to your week! Take good care and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
