Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Monday to you all! Here we go…another new week…a week of new hope and possibilities…so today, let’s begin this brand new week, by reaching forth, to what God truly has for us…Amen!!
Yesterday morning…Keith and I were spending some time together with God, as we began our day…and I was playing a song to Keith; that I thought that he had not heard before and while we were listening, a thought crossed my mind and this is what I jotted down… “God’s already made the way; so why should we worry or fear the unknown.”
You know…we can have days, when the path seems so easy to walk down. In fact, these moments can make us feel as if the sun will shine forever; but then, as we look off into the horizon…our eyes catch a glimpse of a storm headed our way…and instantly, all kinds of thoughts begin to cloud our minds and even take us to a place of worry, fear and dread.
This morning, as I was looking through some Bible verses; God led me to a beautiful one, in Isaiah 43:19…which is one of my favorites…and we read… “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
First off, I want to ask you a question… “Have you ever seen a road, in the midst of wilderness…or a river, running through a desert?” I’ve not walked through a desert; but I am surrounded by wilderness…and to my recollection; I have never seen a road, through a dense wilderness. Just think…if God has the power to carve a road through the wilderness and cause water to flow through a barren desert; then don’t you think that He could also make a way for us?
You know…I think we already know that the sun isn’t always going to shine; for there will be storms…storms that cause tears of rain to fall from our cheeks, while the darkness of sadness and depression surrounds us. Even though these things have a way of invading our lives…I do KNOW a God, who already knows the way out of these storms…to a place, where the sun will shine once more; but first, we must realize that we can’t find this path or even create this path on our own. In other words…we need to turn to someone greater than the storm…and that is Jesus Christ. I have truly come to see, through a lifetime of storms; that when we do cry out for His help…He will come running…to make a way, where we just can’t seem to find a way.
No matter what you may be facing today…and no matter how hopeless it may seem; may I encourage you, to not give into the storm; but instead, cry out to the Master of the storm…for I have truly come to see that He is a God, who will awaken to these hurtful moments in your life…and He will come a running, to lead you to higher ground, where you will be safe from the blunt of the storm.
Today, I praise God…that He is ALWAYS there to help and care for me. Even though the worst of my past is behind me…I still face pain and discouraging moments, just like you; but I have truly come to see that I am not alone…and when He hears my cries…He never fails to come to me…to help me through that trying moment in my life.
Well…I don’t know about you; but I needed these words this morning…and I thank God that He is ALWAYS there to help us, especially through these words of hope and encouragement…PRAISE HIM!!
Well…I’m off to enjoy this brand new day! I truly pray that you will have a great Monday…and even more; that you will experience this God I serve! Take care and I will hope to see you soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
