Hello everyone...and a "Happy Monday" to you! I sure hope that your day is off to a good start! This morning, I've been looking out my window, to a frosty morning. I don't know about you; but it seems as if the seasons changed pretty fast this year; but you know what...no matter what season we experience...the beauty of God's presence surrounds us, in everything we see...and I praise Him for that today!
Last night, I decided to stay up a little later, since I had gotten several hours of rest in the afternoon; so I could do a little website work. Once I was finished, I decided to just have a nice quiet talk with God and read a little of His word, as of means of relaxing myself down, from all the work I did.
Anyways...I was pouring out my heart to Him...and sharing some things that had been on my mind lately; because I find that it's better to give everything to Him, rather than hold it within myself.
As I was thumbing through some of my favorite verses, while talking with God; I was reminded of one of the verses this morning, from Isaiah 41:10, which reads... "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
How many times, do we find ourselves caught up in the so-called power of a problem; that we forget who God truly is? Lately, I have come to see how fear and dread...and other negative thoughts, can attempt to make us believe that they are more powerful, than this powerful God we serve...and why? Because our thoughts become too tightly fixed on them, until we find ourselves walking side by side with them, rather than God.
One thing God reminded me of last night; is that I need to keep my focus on Him and allow my thoughts to also turn often to Him. It only makes sense; that what we focus on, will be what has control over us in the end...right?
You know...some people think that just because someone serves God; that they never fall prey to these moments; but we must remember that we, who serve God, are just human too. In fact...I have found that life has had more struggles, while serving God...and that's because Satan doesn't like what we are doing for Him.
This morning...I praise God, for being there for me...and you know what...He will be there for you in the same way; but first, we must walk through this day, with our thoughts turning in God's direction, rather than the direction, of whatever we may be facing. I just pray that we will find the strength, to turn away from the works of darkness...to walk in the light of God's presence!
Have a great Monday...take care and may God ALWAYS be with you!
Many...many blessings on your day!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
