Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! It’s so good to be with you today…and especially in the presence of almighty God! I pray that as we spend this time together; that we will truly feel and experience the comforting presence of this magnificent and loving God…Amen!!
As I’ve been sitting here in the presence of God…preparing to share some God inspired thoughts with you; God began to lead me to a familiar Bible verse in Psalm 23:4, and we read… “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Today, I’m sure that many of us are walking down a darkened path of the end times. Some may be without jobs, while others may be hurting physically and emotionally; and I don’t know about you but moments such as these can make us feel as though we are walking through the valley of the shadow of death…a place that can make us feel so hopeless and alone. Many times, while experiencing these darkened paths, we can begin to fear what is happening around us…and as our minds turn towards thoughts of fear, it seems as if these thoughts keep walking us deeper into darkness and despair…to a place where we feel as if the sun will never shine again. This morning, while taking a break in our living room, I began to think on this…and how Satan can take these moments of affliction and enhance them…to the place where we begin to feel alone…in a world of our own. One thing I am truly being reminded of in Psalm 23:4; is that even though we may walk through these darkened valleys…we are never alone. Yes…the circumstance can attempt to convince us that we are alone…and even make us feel as if we are wounded prey in the eyes of evil; but if we were to slow down and gather our thoughts and reconnect with God; then I’m sure that we would come to see that God has been there all along. You know…I have come to see that there can be times, when we have to pass through these darkened valleys, so we can be strengthened for the difficult climbs that may be ahead of us on this journey. In fact…I have and continue to walk down dark pathways and valleys that can seem endless at times; but that doesn’t mean that my faith is weak or that God doesn’t care; it just means that either Satan is attempting to side-track me and get me on a different path…away from God’s will for my life…or it could even mean that God is using this path, so I will let go of myself and cling only to Him. Sometimes we just don’t know where these paths are taking us; but one thing I have truly come to see within my own life; is that whatever path God may allow…for whatever reason it may be; He is there to help us…protect us and comfort us along the way. No matter what you are facing today, let me encourage you by saying that God is there for you. Maybe you may not be able to see or feel His presence in the darkness…but He is there…and one thing I have come to see; is that He will do whatever it takes to let you know that He is with you; so don’t allow the darkness to overtake you; but rather, allow God’s presence to fill these darkened moments, until He is ready to bring you onto a new path…one that radiates the light of a brand new dawn. Have a great day…and always know how much God loves and cares for you! Many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
