Hello everyone...and a "Happy Saturday" to you all! I hope that your weekend is off to a good start...and that you will truly experience everything good from above!
You know...there can be times, when our thoughts become sidetracked. It seems as if we become so twisted within thoughts that only attempt to spell out defeat, rather than hope; then we wonder why we don't have peace of mind. One thing I've come to experience, when it comes to peace; is that it's not only something we pray for...but it's also something we need to pursue. If we aren't going after the things that are true...honest...just and pure; and if we aren't focusing on the things that are lovely...things that can bring a good report back to us; then we can pray for peace until we are purple in the face...but we won't receive it...and why? Because our thoughts have been removed from the things that can draw peace into our lives, while we focus on the things that only seem to take us further down in life.
Lately, I have been facing a lot of uncertain moments in my life, just like you...and one thing I have come to see about uncertain moments; is that Satan can easily step in and fill in the blanks...and make us believe that the worst is about to happen. It's amazing how our thoughts drift into moments that haven't even come into existence. Why do we choose to walk there and imagine the worst, when the One who can fill in these blanks with His best, lives within us?
The thing that is going to help us the most, during times such as these; is to remain in the moments we are now living, while looking for the good that is taking place in our lives right now. Maybe life doesn't always appear to be it's best; but I know one thing...when we look beyond what appears to be wrong...to see what good is taking place; then focusing on the good thoughts will begin to override, what we see as the very worst.
As you walk through this day...maybe you are facing some uncertain times in your life. Maybe your mind is tempted to walk into the unknown and focus on the very worst. May I encourage you today, to let go of what may be ahead of you...to think on the things that are taking place in your life right now...things that can bring a good report into your life...even if that only means that you are alive and functioning through it all. Once we are willing to take life one minute at a time...and focus on life in this way; then that is when the God of peace will truly be with us...Amen!!
Have a great day everyone...enjoy this brand new day that the Lord hath made...and remember to look for the good, rather than the worst. Take care and I will hope to be with you again this evening!
Many...many blessings on your Saturday!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
