Hello everyone…and a “Happy Saturday” to you! Praise God for a new day…where our yesterdays are now a thing of the past…and all things are being made new!
Before I begin, I would like to thank God for bringing me through the night…and that this morning; the pain has settled down a bit…praise Him! I’ll tell you…He has truly been my everything! As I’ve been sitting here this morning…thanking God for another new day; He led me to a Bible verse in 2 Corinthians 4:16, which reads… “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” How many times, do we find ourselves focusing on where our circumstance is taking us? For me…it’s easy to get caught up, in how this pain could be aging me. After all…it can drain me of life and it can even cause my eyes to look tired…with bags and dark circles under them. Now if I was to focus on the after effects of this pain…then I’m sure that I would begin to believe that this pain is slowly destroying me; but when I look beyond the pain and the outward appearance…to look deep within the heart; then I begin to experience a God, who is working…to give me a greater wisdom…and to allow new growth and a greater strength, to place within my life. For example…when I write through pain and tiredness…I see where God takes me to a greater depth of writing...and it becomes a place, where I learn and grow first…before passing it on to you. One thing I know for sure…God NEVER allows any painful moment into our lives, unless He has a plan to use it…so keep that in mind, with whatever you may be facing right now. No matter what we face…and no matter what it does to our bodies; the heart is getting a makeover…one that can increase in strength, to keep us standing…and one that can allow us to stand stronger, with a new growth; that will make it that much harder for evil to have its way with us. Today…I praise God; that He can work through these difficult times…and what an honor and a privilege, to have a loving and powerful God, take hold of the brokenness in my life…to make me into a stronger vessel for Him. This is what we should be focusing on, rather than the circumstance itself. Well…time for me to start my Saturday! Today, I’m prepping a few things for the freezer, for Thanksgiving Day…and then I plan to rest. I pray that whatever you do today; that God would truly bless you through it all! Have a great Saturday…and many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
