Good evening everyone and how was your day?! It's been a great day for me...but a little busy...but that's ok because I am going about my Father's business...Amen!!
How many evenings in a week, do we find ourselves caught up in the cares of the day? Seems like we find it easier to talk about everything that goes wrong, rather than a God, who can make it all right.
You know...one thing I love about this verse in John 16:33; is that God is already warning us about the tribulation and problems that will take place in this world...but how many times, do we bypass the words, where He says that He has overcome the world?
Many years back, I probably could have received the award, for the most negative person of the year...because all I did, was thrive on every detail of what was going wrong in my life. Little did I know at the time; that I was also coming down to Satan's level...and for each negative word that I spewed out of my mouth...Satan seemed to be right there to enhance those moments. In fact...I'm sure he was a happy camper...knowing that what he had afflicted me with, was getting to me, in such a way.
Over time, I have learned to shut my mouth...and only open it to pray. No one is perfect...and there are times, when we slip out a word of complaint...but when this happens...we need to make that word of complaint powerless...by taking that need directly to God instead.
How are we ever going to experience peace...and the pure joy that comes from God...even in the midst of these difficult times, if we are always coming down to Satan's level? One thing that I found; that always helps me at the end of the day; is to share my day with God...and you know what...I not only pour my heart out to Him; but I also seem to see the moments more clearly, when God did step in and make a way of escape.
As we rest for the night...let us let go of everything that is already behind us...and reach up to a God, who can exchange these moments, for a peace and rest that can truly prepare us for a new day...a day, where He can make everything brand new again...Praise Him!!
Tonight, I pray that you will experience true peace throughout the night, by simply handing everything from your day over to God...and may your tomorrow bring you into a new beginning...where God has made everything brand new...just for you...Amen!!
Have a great night...and may you rest in the arms of God, until we meet again tomorrow!
Many...many blessings on your night!
It's Always & Only Because of Him...
