Good evening everyone! I truly hope that you had a nice Sunday...I know I did. After I talked with you this morning, I spent some very special moments with God and my husband...and what a great time we had in God's word! Then later...after some dinner, I laid down and passed out for about 3 hours...but I have to say that I am feeling better tonight...praise God!
Tonight...I thought I'd stop by and let God encourage us all, as we prepare to begin another new week. For some...Monday's can be a difficult time, as we start a new week all over again. I know for me...sometimes, I can struggle with this; because of what my body is going through with the pain.
Anyways...I was looking through my study Bible...the one that I have used so much in my life...and as I was seeking God, for some wisdom to help us all; He led me to a verse in Hebrews 10:36, which reads... "You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised."
I'll tell you...this Bible verse has helped me so much in my life. Many a time, when I wanted to give up and give into whatever I was facing at the time; God would gently remind me...that if I wanted to receive what He had promised me through the trial...then I would have to keep pressing on.
Some of you may remember me talking about the time, when I fell down emotionally to nothing. In the midst of it all, I felt God speaking to my heart and saying... "Diane, I promise to bring you through this time in your life." As I look back on this time; I KNOW without a doubt; that I wouldn't be where I am today, if I would've given into those difficult times that I once faced. I praise God today; that He does stand on His promises to us...and that we are victorious in the end...through Him.
No matter what you're walking through right now...I understand; because I have faced a lot of hardships myself...and one thing I can tell you...if you keep pressing on and pursuing God's very best through it all; you will experience His very best in the end...so please...don't give up.
As we prepare to begin another new week; I pray that we will find the strength to anticipate God's very best, rather than what we feel may go wrong in the week...that we may truly find what we are seeking for in the end.
As we close our weekend together, I also pray that you will find good rest, for whatever you may be facing...and that tomorrow, you will awaken with a smile of hope...one that will keep you at God's level, rather than the level of the affliction.
Have a good night...and may God's perfect peace be with you all!
