![]() Hello everyone…I sure hope that your day is going well! Today, as we begin our time together, I would like to just share a heartfelt message of encouragement and hope with you, as we are truly living in some very trying times. Yesterday, as I was thinking on what God would have me to share with you today; He began to remind me of something…and that is how we can experience times, when we truly feel broken within, as if our hearts have been shattered like broken glass. Many times, we tend to think that this brokenness can never be repaired; but we must remember that even though we are shattered and broken; that this doesn’t mean that the broken pieces can’t rise up and be made new again. As I look back on my life, there was an instance or two, when I felt that there definitely was no hope. Everything in my life had truly been broken…to the place where it made me feel, as if I had been brought down to just an old worn out piece of refuse; but as time went on, I did come to see that even though I couldn’t put each broken piece back together on my own...there was a God, who knew exactly where every piece belonged…and over time, I was repaired and made new. As I’ve been spending some precious moments with you and God today; He has led me to a beautiful Bible verse in Jeremiah 17:14…and we read… “God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!” I truly believe that when we can come to the place in our lives, where we actually admit that we are broken; then that becomes the first step, to receiving God’s help. Even now, as we face this virus from day to day, our lives can feel broken and even out of place…and the moments that once brought sunshine into the windows of our hearts; now only seems to give us a distorted and broken view of life. One thing I’ve learned through all the broken moments of my own life; is that there is a God who can pick up each broken piece that has fallen deep within the heart…and He can place them perfectly back together…in a way that can make us stronger; so we don’t easily shatter and fall to pieces again. You know…we can pray and ask God to put these pieces back together that seems so shattered…and that’s good; but we must also work with Him…and be the assistant He needs, as He carefully repairs what has been broken within our lives…and that means that we must be willing to do our part by functioning each day, while striving to rise above these broken moments that surround us. Once we can allow our faith to take us to a place where we no longer focus on what’s been broken; that is when we will begin to experience a strength…that only comes from the hand of a God that is at work within us. Are you broken in spirit? Have you fallen to pieces, by what is happening around you? One thing I can say for sure…you don’t have to remain that way. In other words…just because you may seem broken; that doesn’t mean that it’s a hopeless cause. Maybe we aren’t able to bring everything back together on our own; but I know and have experienced a God, whose power and strength is great enough to mend what has been broken within our lives. Today, we need to let go and let this loving and powerful God take over; for He already knows where every piece belongs. Once we can truly hand all the broken pieces of our hearts over to Jesus; that is when life will once more begin to come back together again…so give it all to Him! Have a great day everyone…and always know that Jesus is available for you…anytime you may need Him! Take care and I will hope to be with you again real soon! Many…many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
