Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Thursday to you all! Praise God for this beautiful brand new day that He has set before us. As the sun arose this morning…so did the shades to another new day…and I praise Him with all my heart, for the new things He’s about to do in this day…Amen!!
Yesterday, as I was beginning my day…God once more began to speak to my heart; so I quickly stopped what I was doing at the time and went into my office and wrote this… “We don’t have to look ahead and figure life out. God already figured it out, since the day He created us…and all we have to do is walk through it with Him.” Wow…what a simple task to do; but you know what…we all tend to take the rough route through life instead…and that is one thing I haven’t been able to figure out. Here we have a God, who has everything planned out for our lives; but yet we choose to make it harder on ourselves, by figuring out a life that has already been fashioned by Him.
I remember a time in my life, when everything I did had to be planned out…and planned out on my own. I would say that I would find myself living in Friday, when I was actually still in the previous Sunday. Then a time came, when I had a wake-up call with God. In fact, He began to show me that I was actually trying to figure out a day that hadn’t even been created yet by Him. That is when I began to see, as to where all the anxiety and confusion was coming from…and even more, I began to see how this way of living, was tied into a dysfunctional past. Now, I can truly say that I have stopped planning out my life. Now, I get up each morning and let God walk me through a day…a day that had already been planned out, since the day He created me.
Last night, as I was thinking on this even more; God began to lead me to a couple Bible verses; but the one that hit my heart the most, is found in Psalm 139:16…and we read… “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Now after reading this Bible verse, we need to ask ourselves, as to why we are attempting to plan out a life; that has already been planned out by God? Don’t we realize that our thoughts and ideas only get in the way of His, while attempting to bring His true plan for our lives to a halt?
You know…one thing I’ve truly come to see over time; is how the future is so unknown to us. In other words…God only unfolds His plan for our lives, as He creates one day at a time, which means that these other days ahead…that we are attempting to fill with plans…are only a waste of time, as we try to fill the darkness of an uncreated moment, with pieces of a life that we have no knowledge about; and while we are busy …trying to fashion our own lives, we truly miss out on the real reason for living…the reason and purpose that God has destined just for us.
You know…there is one thing that I’ve never fully understood in my life…and that is why we have a powerful God living within our hearts; but yet we attempt to tie up His hands…stop His work, while turning the other direction, to run our lives our way. I don’t know about you; but when I lived this way in my past…those past moments only seemed to become one big mess…and why? Because I was attempting to put each piece of the puzzle of my life into the wrong spot, which only gave me a confusing and distorted view of what I thought God wanted for my life, rather than what He truly longed for me to have.
Praise God…that I am now in sync with Him…and as I rise to another new day; I no longer look for what I desire the day to be; but instead, I step into God’s footprints and follow the One, who has known the way for me, since the very beginning…praise Him!!
No matter what you may be walking through today, may I encourage you to walk through it with God. Just remember…He already knows the way…and life can be much easier, when we choose to walk through it with Him, rather than trying to create our own footprints to walk in.
Today, I pray that we won’t become so caught up in the moments we’re facing…that we find ourselves falling apart; but that we will allow ourselves to regroup and get back on the path; that will keep us close to the One, who can walk us out of these difficult moments of despair.
Well…it’s been another great visit with you today! Praise God, for His loving words of encouragement; that can truly help us to get back to where we belong in life. As we close…I pray that your Thursday will be a very special one…completely blessed by God! Take good care and I will hope to be with you again tomorrow!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
