Wednesday...Dec. 04, 2019 | He's working on your behalf...

12/4/2019

Hello everyone…and a very “Happy Wednesday” to you all! I hope that your day is going well…I know mine is…and why…because God is leading the way…praise Him!
As I sit here in my office this morning…looking out to a brand new day; there is life all around me. Squirrels are everywhere and birds are flying through the air, while the sun is attempting to shine through the darkness that was left behind, after a rainy night.
One thing God is revealing to me more and more; is that no matter how our circumstances make us feel…life goes on…and the light of God’s presence remains, while working on our behalf, even thru the darkened moments that surround us, due to a circumstance.
In Isaiah 64:4, we read… “Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.” I don’t know about you; but when my mind becomes caught up in moments of pain…it’s not always easy to see that God is at work on my behalf.  It seems like we become so caught up in the symptoms of the problem; that the problem begins to take over every part of our being.
We must remember that Satan isn’t only out to afflict us; but to also allow the circumstance to distract us; so we will feel abandoned by the One, who we thought would always be there for us, during these difficult times.
I remember a time recently, when I was in an overwhelming amount of pain. In my own life, I have chosen to stay clear of narcotics for pain…and trust God. This one particular day, I could barely stand what I was going through…and I cried out to God and said… “God, you are going to have to do something to help me; because I am not handling this pain very well.” Within a short time, I believe that this was when God began to go to work on my behalf, as the pain began to settle down. You know…I think sometimes, we just expect God to step in and do what needs to be done…without even talking with Him about the problem; but I have come to see; that He wants us to lean on Him…and the way we do that; is when we cry out to Him, rather than just sitting there and allowing the problem to have its way. I truly believe…from experience; that when we do this; then that is when He begins to work on our behalf…to help…heal and even sustain, during a time of need. We should never take God for granted; but rather, allow these painful moments in our lives, to be an opportunity to lean on Him and call out to our Father for help.
No matter what the circumstance attempts to convey to us…and no matter what we think…I truly believe that there is a God, who works in the background of our lives…to counteract the works of evil…otherwise, we would end up defeated…and in the end, He would be defeated, while everything His Son died for would be in vain. Sometimes, I think we just need to get our heads on straight, rather than allowing the problem to lead us in a different direction with our thoughts.
No matter what you may be facing today…be encouraged and know that there is a powerful God at work, in the background of your life. Even though the circumstance has attempted to make you believe that God has abandoned you…He hasn’t. Just trust Him today, to do the very best for you…and I KNOW He will make a way, even though there seems to be no way at this time.
Well…time for me to begin my day! I pray that your day will be its best…truly blessed, by the One, who is always working on your behalf!
See ya soon…and God bless!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
