Wednesday...Jan. 22, 2020 | A God of Possibility...for the Impossible

1/22/2020

Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! I sure hope that your day is off to a good start…and that you will truly feel and experience the presence of God, as you walk through this brand new day…Amen!!
As I look out my window this morning…the gray skies of yesterday, have now turned to blue skies and a little sunshine. Squirrels are foraging for food, as everything for this brand new day begins to come into play.
How many times, do we take a few minutes in our day, just to watch the hand of God at work? For me…I just love having my daybed by my office window…because for some reason, I find it easier to connect with God as I write. For instance…when I see the tree limbs move outside my office window, while other trees remain quiet and still…I begin to wonder, if God is letting me know that He is close by; and when I see a small tree bud in the springtime…open up into a large maple leaf…these moments remind me that there is nothing that this big God cannot do. I think that if we were to experience God’s hand at work around us each day; then we would truly have more faith…as to what He can do within our own lives.
There is a Bible verse in Luke 1:37…and it’s so simple and to the point…and it reads… “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” You know…I think that one of the reasons why we become caught up in the “impossible;” is because we are caught up in every detail of the problems we face. Just think…why would our problems ever convince us that we could overcome them? I think a simple reply to that question, would be that they can’t…so why are we looking for the possible, in the impossible? Wow!
Each day, we need to look beyond what seems to be the impossible and connect with the One, who can make all things possible. In other words…we need to unplug ourselves from the problem and plug ourselves into God…and how do we do that…by focusing on the things that can draw us away from what the problem is conveying to us; so our thoughts can be fixed on things that can increase our faith in God.
One thing I have come to see, through a lifetime of pain and heartache; is that Christ’ loving sacrifice crossed out the word impossible and instead, it made ALL things possible…that is to those who believe in Him and what He can do.
Today we need to ask ourselves this question… “Do our prayers connect us directly to a powerful God, through a heart of faith and belief…or have we not fully plugged ourselves into God?” The way we will know the true answer to this question; is how we react to a problem. In other words…do our prayers and our hearts of faith…point us in a direction, where we anticipate God’s best and the things that can truly become possible, through the impossible; or are these words we speak in prayer only simple words that lead us nowhere? We either believe in what God can do…or we don’t…there is no in between.
No matter what we face…and no matter how impossible it may seem to overcome, we must allow our faith to take us way beyond those thoughts; that we might truly come to experience a God of possibility…PRAISE HIM!!
Well…it’s been a great visit this morning for me! I truly pray that these words, from God’s heart to ours, will help us to find our way through the darkest circumstances we face…that we may come to truly see that ALL things are possible with God!
Have a great day…take care and I will hope to be with you again soon!
Many…many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
