Hello everyone! Before we begin, I would like to wish everyone a “Happy New Year!” and also welcome you to another week of Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! My prayer is that we will truly find a piece of hope to take with us, when we part…a piece of hope that will give us something to hold tightly to, as we enter this brand New Year!
You know…some of us may be struggling to enter the year 2019, due to health issues…
depression…a loss of work or even a deep heartache that has attempted to take over our lives. Moments like these can make us feel as if life has come to a complete halt, which only makes it much more difficult, to take those final steps towards a brand new year.
One thing I would like to say to you today; is that no matter what we face…life does go on. The clock still ticks, as moments turn into hours…and the days continue to pass us by, as we leave one day behind, to enter another. We may feel as if our circumstances are keeping us from moving on…but whether we see it or not…life does continue to go on.
I will never forget the very difficult days I faced, as I went through an insurmountable amount of pain and deep heartache in my life. There were days, when I felt as if life had come to a final standstill for me, as there didn’t seem to be any hope left within me…the hope I needed to nudge me along, through the hurtful moments of the past.
No matter what I felt at the time…life did continue on, as God continued to work in the background of my life, to make all things new again. Now, as I look back, I see where the moments of hopelessness have now become filled to overflowing with hope. No matter what I have lost in my life over the years…God has gently filled those empty rooms of the heart…and I not only talk about it…but truly feel it.
You know…the circumstances we experience in life can make everything seem dead and dormant within us. We can feel as if the path before us will always remain gray and lifeless, as we attempt to push on; but one thing I would like to say to you today; is that a time does come, when we leave the gray and lifeless moments of the past behind…to experience a path that is once more filled with life and the sunshine of a brand new dawn.
Today, we need to leave the excess baggage behind; that has kept us weighed down over this past year and press on…anticipating what God longs to give us, in this brand new year. One thing I do know; is that God does not allow us to live in the old moments of pain and heartache forever…for He is working, as we journey with Him, to take those old moments of pain and heartache and make all things new. The thing is…you will never truly come to see what the finale of your suffering has led you to, when you throw in the towel and quit.
The paths we walk down can have bumps in the road and may be hard to get through…but when we choose to press on with God; He will be there, to pull us through the tight and narrow passageways of life; so take hold of God, as you enter the year 2019…and let Him be the One, to walk you through each new day, of this brand new year!
Blessings on your day!

Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! Before we begin, I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas! My prayer for you; is that you will truly experience Christ in your Christmas…and that you will come to see that the One, who was born many years ago; is still alive and with you in Spirit…no matter what you may face in life!
As we look back to a time, when Mary had just been visited by the angel of the Lord; we see a young girl who had no clue, as to what was about to take place in her life…but no matter what she questioned or felt…she opened herself up to God’s will and Jesus, God’s Son was brought into this world.
As I was listening to the song that I have posted, for this week’s Sunday Inspiration, titled…“Be Born in Me”…I just wonder, if we have truly allowed Jesus to be born within our hearts? In other words…have we allowed our hearts to become the manger, where He can be born within us…and not only born within us; but also brought alive within us, while allowing Him to work and make Himself evident…in and through us.
You know…Christmas can become a time, where we become easily caught up into family…friends…gifts and all kinds of events that may be taking place…but where is Jesus in all of this? Have we locked Him up within our hearts over the Christmas season…not allowing Him to be seen or heard of…or even acknowledged within our own hearts?
One thing that is truly experienced in my own life at Christmas; is the celebration of Jesus’ birthday…and oh what a time this should be for all of us, as we celebrate the birth of a Messiah…One that was sent, to not only save us from our sins; but to also free us from the moments of despair; that can be brought about by evil.
As we celebrate Christmas this year, can we say that we are willing to let Christ truly be born within us…and I’m not talking about being labeled as a “Christian;” but really and truly…allow Christ to be connected to us through a relationship, rather than a religion. We must remember that religion dictates our lives…but a true and lasting relationship with Christ can become something special…deep within us; something that becomes ongoing and never ending…one that grows with time, as we share the up’s and down’s of life with Christ, until we reach the place, where we enter His arms for real in heaven.
Let me ask you a question, as we close our time together. Have you prepared your heart for Jesus this Christmas? Have you opened your heart up to Him and welcomed Him in, just as Mary did? I would say that after all our Lord has done for us…the least we could do; would be to welcome His presence within us and celebrate the birthday, of the greatest King known to man…Jesus Christ!
May God truly bless your heart this Christmas!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23
“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” John 12:46
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
“Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.” Psalm 73:23
Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so happy to have you with me today…and my prayer for all of us; is that we will come to experience a true and living hope; that not only came into this world, to die for our sins…but to also become the living hope; that would be there for us, during our deepest hour of need!
You know…I can’t even begin to feel what Mary must have felt, as she looked into the eyes of Jesus! What an experience…to know that God had chosen her, to bring His only Son into this world…a Son who would display a love that had never been felt before…as He would grow up, to die for the sins of many. Even though Satan felt that Jesus’ death would be the end of all hope in this world…it was Jesus’ resurrection that actually became the beginning of all He longed to offer us, here on earth.
I wonder why we see our circumstances, as a path…leading us further and further away, from the hope that already stands before us. Don’t we realize that we are surrounded by Jesus’ presence each day? It seems as though we become so caught up in what is taking place…through the circumstance; that before we know it; we are allowing these thoughts to take us away from the manger and the cross…and especially the hope that was given to us, through these moments in time.
There is something very special that I have come to see this Christmas! Just think…a time came, when Jesus was held…cradled and loved by Mary; but now His Spirit longs to love…hold and cradle us in His arms of love! For what I see before me…this story lives on…for it’s His loving Spirit that longs to be with us…to care for us and comfort us, during the very difficult times of our lives.
Why should we view our circumstances, as the beginning of no hope? Why do we allow them to convey messages that only take us further away, from the hope that Jesus has brought to us? Today, we need to be as the kings and shepherds…and continue to seek and look for the true Messiah…the One, who will not only save us from our sins; but from a total pit of destruction.
One thing we need to realize today; is that Jesus was not only born into this world, as a means of saving our souls from hell; but it was also His desire to continue on from there and be here for us and with us, during our deepest and darkest hour of need.
When we choose to accept Jesus into our hearts…it doesn’t end there…for He longs to offer every benefit of hope that He can give us…to help and sustain us through this life. Don’t allow Jesus to remain locked up within your heart; but let His life continue on, as He longs to work in and through you!
Blessings on your day!

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:17
Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I’m so glad that you stopped by for a visit today…and my prayer for you; is that you will truly come to experience Jesus…in a way that will totally free your heart from despair!
As we begin our time together today, I would like to give you a gift of hope this Christmas…a hope that came into this world over 2000 years ago. This hope was sent to us; that we may not have to remain in our sins and moments of despair…and has ever sense become the greatest gift that we could ever receive…and this hope is found in Jesus Christ!
You know…when a problem hits us head on, we tend to focus on every obstacle that enters our path; but just think on all the obstacles that Mary and Joseph must have faced, as a means of bringing God’s only Son into this world.
Even as Jesus grew up to be a man…the obstacles never stopped coming…as Satan worked overtime, to stop God’s only Son, Jesus Christ, from going to the cross; but no matter what came His way…and no matter how difficult the moments of temptation became…this beautiful gift of hope became reality, through the death, burial and resurrection.
You know…sometimes, I just sit back and think on the hope and amazing love that was brought into this world…so many years ago. Jesus never really had to do any of this for us; but His love for us became greater, than what He would have to endure in His lifetime…and even on the cross. What is so amazing to me; is how a small little baby could enter this world and grow up, to bring us an everlasting hope that could change our lives forever.
How is it that we find ourselves to be more attentive to the deceptive lies; that attempt to keep us from experiencing this real gift of hope…a hope that can free us from sin and breathe new life within us? Can you imagine what would have happened, if Mary…Joseph…and especially Jesus, would have focused on every obstacle that attempted to prevent them, from bringing this gift of hope to us? I think we could pretty much say that we would be sitting here right now…living with sin and a despair that would definitely take us down into a pit of total destruction.
Today, we need to take our attention away from the circumstances or obstacles that enter our path and turn our attention to the gift of hope that Jesus has placed before us. For those of us who have already received the free gift of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ…let us not leave this gift of hope unopened or tossed to the side; but let us take hold of this gift of hope and open it; that it may help us through these difficult moments of despair. As for those who have never received the free gift of hope and salvation, through Jesus Christ…may I invite you to say a little prayer with me? All you have to do is say… “Lord Jesus, I truly believe that you came into this world as a baby; that one day you would grow up and truly become the gift of hope for me; through your sacrificial death on the cross. I thank you Jesus that you loved me so much; that you came into this world; that I may have forgiveness of my sins and the hope of everlasting life with you! Jesus…I truly believe in you…and now I ask that you would forgive my sins and come into my heart to stay…Amen!!
No matter what we face in life…and no matter how difficult it may be; we don’t have to suffer needlessly…because Jesus came into this world, to change everything…and make a way for all of us! Take His gift of hope and salvation and open it; that it may come alive within you and keep you free, from sin and despair!
Many blessings on your day!
