“O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:1-10
Hello everyone and welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you stopped by for a visit today; and always know that you are more than welcome to come back and visit us anytime! As we prepare for another new week ahead…my prayer is that we will come to connect with a God; that can truly help us all to rise above any circumstance in our lives!
You know…I have come to see how easy it is to become so fixed on the dark and stormy clouds of a circumstance. Our eyes and even our hearts can become so caught up, in what is happening around us; that we don’t stop to think that God already knows the way out, of anything He may allow within our lives.
Don’t we realize that God is more than a god? He’s a god that has always had everything under His control. Even though Satan attempts to convince us that his power is much greater than any other power; it is only through our weaknesses; that he gains the power to do what he does. In other words…when we succumb to a weakness in our lives; then it’s as if we are the ones who give him the power and permission to continue on, which only allows Satan to become even stronger through those weaknesses.
One thing that God has reminded me of lately; is that He would never allow us to walk through anything, unless He knew there was a way out. God doesn’t allow these problems into our lives, to just torture us or even bring us to total destruction; but instead, it’s His desire; that we should learn and grow from the problems He allows within our lives.
Lately, I have come to understand one thing; that I have never really given much thought to before and that is that God sees a completely different view of our circumstances; then what we may even be seeing at this time. When we are looking into the face of a dark and overpowering storm; I truly believe that He is on the other side of the storm…viewing clear skies ahead. You see…He’s got it all figured out, even before we walk through these difficult moments.
The other night, I was posting some quotes on Twitter and one of them went like this… “Take a look at where you used to be and then look at where you are right now. You are where you are today because God never gave up on you.” I find it amazing, how circumstances can take us away from hope and all that God longs to do for us, while walking through these difficult storms. It’s only later; that we come to see that God did know the way out of a problem, where once we couldn’t see any hope.
No matter what you’re facing today; just know that God is on the other side of your storm and He already sees where you’re headed and when we choose to follow Him…despite what we see before us; then we will eventually walk into the moments that He now sees. Never give up on God!
Blessings on your Sunday!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
