--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Reader…
I am writing you today, with a heart that is overflowing with love and concern; for whatever you may be walking through in this life…and as I share my heart with you today, I would like to make it known to you that someone cares…and that you’re never alone, in what seems to be a very lonely world.

As I’m visiting with you today, my thoughts are going back to a time…where I sat alone…heartbroken and tired of the long and tiring journey that I had faced, for so many years of my life. As I sat there to myself…completely forsaken by those; that I felt at one time were my friends; there was one thing I asked God for at that time…and that was to have a heart that would break in little pieces, for others who hurt. I just didn’t want to see anyone go through the extreme moments of pain and deep heartache alone…just as I had experienced.

You know…today, I could write on something else; but instead, I would like this writing, to be a heartfelt moment, from God’s heart and mine…to yours. Today, you may feel alone. Maybe others have walked away, with no care or understanding; about what you are going through…but I understand… and I care. I have walked through moments, when friends and family have left my side…at times when I could have used the support the most; but do you know what? These lonely moments became the time, when I made a new friend…a friend who has remained close by and has never walked away. In fact, there were moments, when I tried to walk away from Him; but He remained and never gave up on me once.

Maybe today…you feel as if your circumstance has taken you to the end of your rope. Maybe the rope that once held you up; is now a thread of what seems to be little hope. I know those feelings because a time came, when I emotionally collapsed down to nothing…but at a time, when these moments only spelled out total defeat…a still small voice was making a promise to me; that He would bring me up and out of that awful pit of despair…and even though I didn’t know what to believe at that time; He did keep His word.

If you aren’t experiencing loneliness or deep heartache today; then could it be that you may be facing endless moments of pain and chronic illness? Maybe these moments have taken a toll on you and you wonder when all of this will ever come to an end. I know those feelings…and I can understand your pain because I have lived over 50 years of my life in hospitals…while recovering at home…never knowing what could possibly be next. Even now, I live with chronic pain and a leg that won’t bend; but even though I haven’t been healed, for reasons that may not be fully known to me…this friend I’ve told you about…walks through each painful moment with me and brings peace and comfort…to sooth the moments that can seem so out of control.

This friend that I have been referring to, in the past few moments; is not only someone who will never leave you or forsake you; but He’s a friend that will stay close beside you and will also walk through the moments that He has allowed within your life…and His name is Jesus Christ. In fact…He is the One, who is sharing His love and heart with you, throughout this writing.

Never feel as though you have been abandoned and left as an orphan in your storm; for Jesus is there and He will be the One, who will always love you, when you feel as if no one else loves you…and He will be the One, who will care for you and never walk away, when others don’t care or understand what you’re facing.

This world can definitely make a person feel alone…especially, while walking down unknown paths of pain and deep heartache; but always know that God is closest to the one with a broken heart…believe me…I know!

As I end my time with you today, my prayer is that you will always find the strength of God above your moments of weakness. May you always know that you are never alone, in the deepest, darkest moments of your circumstance...and may you find the light of God’s presence…a light that can shine down upon the darkest path and lead you out of these unknown moments that can make you feel so desolate and alone.
Blessings ALWAYS!!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
