“You, Lord, are all I have, and you give me all I need; my future is in your hands.” Psalm 16:5
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1:3
Hello everyone! Happy Sunday and welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…thru the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you stopped by today and my prayer for you; is that you will truly find God to be everything you need…especially while walking thru troubled times!
You know…the trials that we face in life can make us feel trapped, as though there is no way out. In fact, there can be times, when we wonder if we will ever find freedom, thru these moments that seem to have placed us, into shackles of despair. Just getting up in the morning can seem to be a task that seems so enormous, as we seem to fall into thoughts of dread and fear.
Recently, as some of you already know…I went thru about six weeks of really bad chronic pain and illness. I was sleeping one night and in the middle of the night, was when it all began. Since it just came on during the night, I thought it would soon leave, as this is what has happened many times before; but to my surprise…the pain continued to take me to a place, where I began to feel, as if I had been trapped in a prison cell of despair, with no way out.
There were times, when I felt as though I could barely hang onto life; but then God came to me, thru these trying moments and made Himself known to me, in a way that kept my spirits going. As I cried out, thru the deepest and darkest moments of despair…I knew that He was there with me. I just couldn’t understand at the time, as to why He would allow this kind of suffering into my life.
As time passed by, I found out that I had become so caught up in these overwhelming moments of pain; that I was finding it difficult to keep my focus on God and from there, I began to realize that this may be the reason, as to why I wasn’t receiving the help I needed.
You know…Satan has a way of controlling moments such as these, until we begin to ask ourselves… “Where is God, in all of this?” But while we are asking the question, as to where God is…maybe we should turn the table around and see where we may be at the time. I have come to see so many times; that God is ALWAYS there; but we are the ones that tend to wonder away or follow the path of something that seems so overwhelming at the time; that before we know it, we have lost our connection with God.
I guess the thing that we need to focus on the most, during the very difficult times of adversity; is how we are making it, rather than what is going so wrong…or what we may have even done wrong. You know…I may not always succeed, when it comes to a very overwhelming moment of trial; but I have still come to see that I could have never made it, without the strength of a great and powerful God!
You know…we may not fully understand these moments and why God allows them into our lives; but the one thing we can cling to; is that our God is always there for us, when we need Him the most…even at times, when we fail Him…because you see, I have come to see that He is a God, who will never turn His back on us; but rather, He is a God, who is more than willing to pick up all the broken pieces of our lives and give us another chance to begin anew and once we have truly caught on, to what He may be teaching us at the time; then He will turn life completely around for us, which will give us more strength for the journey that still lies ahead of us.
I think sometimes; that we just need to let go of everything that seems to be hitting us head on and come to truly lean on a God, who can be everything, for every little thing we need. When we are able to just focus on Him and Him alone; then this will become a message, from our hearts to His; that we are truly ready to receive, from whatever He has to offer us.
Blessings on your Sunday!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
