Welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you stopped by today and my prayer for you; is that you will truly find a piece of hope to hold to, as we spend these precious moments alone with God today! As we start our visit together; there is one thing that God has asked me to share with you today…and that is that He loves you so very much! You know…we all need to feel loved and we all need to have someone in our lives, who will understand what we are going through…someone, who truly cares and I have come to find that kind of love and care in God! One thing I can tell you about God’s love; is that it’s not a love that will break your heart or abandon you, at a time, when you need that love the most; but rather, it’s an everlasting love…an ongoing love that never ceases to exist. I remember a time in my life, when I was so low; that I began to feel that no one could ever love me. I don’t know if I was actually feeling that way at the time or if my problems were trying to convince me of that; but through it all, God began to show me one thing that truly turned my life around forever and that is that He never creates anything or anyone; that He cannot love, with an everlasting love…and since His love is that great and perfect; then why would we ever think that He would abandon us? I can tell you one thing today…Satan not only afflicts us through our weaknesses; but he seems to stick around and wiggle the “thorn of affliction,” until the affliction begins to convince us that God doesn’t love us or that He has abandoned us. Today, we need to turn away from these deceitful lies and connect with a God, whose love is powerful enough to break through the chains of affliction…an affliction, whose symptoms seem to bring fear, doubt, anxiety and frustration into our lives. You know…its God’s great love; that actually keeps us suspended above a pit of total destruction. Even though we still experience the miserable side effects of that affliction, we have not been crushed or destroyed…no matter what we’re feeling at the moment and that is only because God’s love has a hold on us. Whenever you feel as though God has given up on you…stop for a moment and think on these two things. First…it’s probably your problems that are attempting to dictate your life at the moment and one thing Satan definitely wants you to take hold of in your thoughts; is that God has walked away from you, at a time, when you need Him the most. Second…ask yourself this question…am I still walking…breathing and functioning. Answering yes to this question, will become a reminder to you; that even though your situation isn’t going well at the moment; there is a love that is greater than these moments of weakness that you’re experiencing and its God’s loving arms that are holding you or suspending you above that pit of destruction. Remember one thing today…no matter who walks out of your life…or no matter how difficult life may seem; God is there…longing so much to love you and fill the emptiness in your life, with His loving presence. Reach out to God today and I know that He will be reaching back…holding you close…in loving arms that can keep you suspended above the problems in your life, until they cease to rage no more. Blessings on your Sunday! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
