Welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad to have you with me today and my prayer; is that we will truly come to find God as our source, for everything we need! How is it that we experience God at times in our lives; but then from there, we seem to quickly lose sight of His power and all that He can continually do? It seems as though we choose to walk a difficult road of needless suffering…all because we choose to believe in the power of a circumstance, rather than the power of a mighty God. You know…one thing out of many; that I have learned in my life; is that I never found true relief, from the moments of pain and heartache…that I was experiencing at the time, until I was willing to meet God at the place of my need. In fact…as I look back on my life, I remember many times, when I would hang on and hang on and try to be strong on my own…never willing to let go of a burden that was just way too big for me to handle on my own. I will never forget the moment, when everything came crashing down. As my strength began to lose the grip, of the problems that I once held tightly too; I found myself humbly falling before a powerful God…admitting for the first time; that I could no longer hold onto the problems that had taken hold of my life. Since that time, I have never been the same. Now I know that God will always be there for me…to meet me at the place of each need and each problem. As we pull up a chair together…within the heart; I now feel peace and a relief that tells me…everything is going to be alright. You know…God isn’t just a “god”…but He’s the great physician, when we experience pain and illness. God’s the Prince of eternal peace, when life is filled with anxiety and the overwhelming feelings; that make life seem so out of control. He’s the One who can do anything for anyone; but first, we must be willing to share our lives and everything that’s weighing us down and be willing to meet Him at the place of our need. Once we are willing to let go of everything and humbly admit that these situations are just too powerful for us to handle alone; that is when God will step in and work with us. Sometimes, I think we feel so alone, while facing these trying times because we have left God out of the problem. Maybe…just maybe; those moments of loneliness stem from trying to face a problem completely on our own. Did you know that we can pray and ask God for His help and then easily find ourselves going back to the wallowing hole, of self-despair? Today, we need to pray that God will give us the strength to hand everything over to Him. Once we are willing to do so; that is when the heavy weight of the trial will become lighter…as God begins to work in and through us. May we all find God to not only be “god;” but to also find Him, as the best and closest friend we could ever have…especially while facing these trying times in our lives. Blessings on your Sunday! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
