Never Give Up…God Is There

8/11/2017

Bible readings...
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? (32) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.” Isaiah41:13

Hello everyone and welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad you stopped by today and I pray that your heart will truly be blessed…inspired and drawn closer to a God, who loves you so much!

Before we begin today, I would like to encourage you to listen to the song that I have chosen on this page for today…the one titled, “Just Look How Far You’ve Come.” There is a story behind this song…in fact; this song helped me to survive some very tough times in my life. I remember a day, when I was at my lowest and out of the blue, this song came into my thoughts. For the longest time, I wondered why certain songs would pop up in my mind…especially songs that were dealing with that specific moment.

After some time had passed, I began to see that God was placing these songs within my heart; but He didn’t only want me to listen to the song; but He wanted me to listen closely to the words; because these words would end up becoming the words that would encourage me and keep my head above the troubled waters.

As I became more deeply focused on the words to this song, I began to see how God truly knew and understood what I was feeling at the time. He not only saw the heart that was heavy and weighed down with a deep embedded circumstance; but He also wanted me to know that He was there for me…and to never give up or give into what was happening at the time. He also wanted me to see the steps that I had already taken and to also know that He would be there, for the steps that were still awaiting me. What a God!

You know…what hope we have…just knowing that God is there with us…through whatever we may face! The circumstances we face definitely have a way of making us feel isolated and alone. They can even speak thoughts within our minds that try to convince us; that giving up would be much easier than pressing on.

One thing we need to remember; is when we give up…then we have lost every step we’ve already completed. I have found that pressing on becomes a journey of learning and new growth and it’s amazing what we can find ourselves taking hold of, while walking through these difficult times with God.

No matter what you’re facing today…never give in and never give up. Instead of looking at everything that has already gone wrong; why not look for God’s presence. I definitely found that in the midst of all the chaos of my life…God was there…making a way for me. He longs so much, to not only love you but to carry you through the moments that just seem too much, for you to handle on your own.

Open yourself up to God today and let the feelings that are etched within the heart become a desperate cry for help. I know that when He sees the message that you have left behind for Him, on the wall of your heart; that He will come running and He will begin to work in ways; that will allow you to know and experience the depth of love He has for you.
Blessings on your Sunday!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
