“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
“The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?” Isaiah 14:27
“The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8
Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so happy to have you with me…and I pray that as we spend these precious moments together; that we will find the hope we need, to keep pressing on…especially while walking through the darkest storms!
As a storm brews on the horizon…the skies fill with a darkness; that’s never been seen before. As the storm intensifies and the winds of circumstance begin to blow…a fear comes over us; that says that we may not make it through the storm. From there…the storm has entered its full strength, as everything around us begins to raise havoc with us and make us feel as if the storm will only worsen.
Now, as we see ourselves standing in the midst of this storm, our eyes become caught up in the darkness surrounding us…and everything we are experiencing seems to be convincing us that this storm will never come to its end.
One thing I know for sure…is that these become the moments, when we tend to forget that there can be another sunrise, on the other side of these dark clouds. We may be standing in the wind and rain, of this difficult storm; but God is on the other side…preparing a new dawn…a time, when we will be relieved of the difficult storm we’ve been facing.
As I look back on my life…I will never forget the darkness that took hold of me. In fact, as I think back…even into my childhood; I see moments, when Satan was already at work…trying to take me away, from what was awaiting me down the road. Moments like these made me feel so hopeless, as though I would never experience the sunshine again; but that was only because I was looking into the face of the storm, rather than anticipating what was on the other side of the storm.
You know…it’s amazing, how we can look deeply into something we’re experiencing at the time and allow it to convince us, of the deceitful lies that are being portrayed, through moments like these. Before we know it…we have convinced ourselves that there is no hope of ever seeing another new dawn again; but I’m here to tell you today; that there is hope…and there is another dawn…shining brightly, on the other side of the storm. We need to remember that what we are seeing before us at this time; is completely different, from what God is seeing…for He is standing in the sunshine, of a new beginning…one that He has chosen, just for us to walk into.
As my life began to take a turn, from the dark storms I was walking through…many years back; I did begin to see a break through the darkness…and as the skies opened up before me…to make a way for what God had in store for my life; that is when a new dawn began to shine brightly before me.
No matter what you’re facing…and no matter how dark the storm appears to be; just remember one thing…you haven’t seen what is on the other side of the storm yet…so never give up…for a time will come, when the sun will shine again!
Many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
