“Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” Isaiah 46:4
Hello…and a big welcome to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you chose to stop by for a visit today and my prayer for you; is that you will come to truly experience a hope that can carry you out of the troubled waters of despair!
You know…there can be times in our lives, when we feel as if our circumstance has tossed us into an ocean of deep despair...and as the circumstance enhances with strength, we can feel as if the waves of circumstance are about to swallow us up. As we attempt to stay afloat, we find that we are not strong enough to remain above these troubled waters of despair, which can make us feel as if we are about to go down for the final time. Moments like these have a way of making us lose sight, of the One who can truly come and take us out of these waters…One whose strength can reach down from the heavens and rescue us; before we are taken down, to a place of total defeat.
In my own life, I experienced a time, when I felt lost at sea…a time when everything in my life seemed so dark…like the dark skies that form with a storm. As fear began to set in… the circumstance became so overwhelming; that I began to see myself, as if I was out on a piece of wood…floating aimlessly through the troubled waters of despair. As the clouds began to get darker and the waves began to grow higher; I began to call out, in desperation to God. Within a short time, it was as if He had truly walked out onto those troubled waters…to where I was. As He drew closer to me; He stepped up on this small piece of wood and began to hold me close to Him, as if He was sheltering me from the storm. Finally, as the winds became calm and the skies began to appear, as if the sun would shine once more; He led me safely to shore, where He placed me on a path; that has led me to where I am today.
These circumstances we go through in life definitely have a way of making us experience these kinds of feelings. As the skies grow dark and the problems we face begin to enhance…with a strength that is unknown to us at the time; we become overwhelmed by the darkness of evil and what has come our way.
One thing we need to remember; is that Satan has a way of portraying himself, as something stronger and greater than God. These troubled waters we fall into can seem cold and fearful, as the darkness of the storm surrounds us. There can even be times, when we feel as if the high waves…brought about by our circumstance, are about to take us down for good; but one thing I learned through my own experience; is to never get caught up in the storm. In other words…don’t let it reign and rule over your life; but instead…just know in your heart that these moments do pass…and the sun will shine once more.
The hope that I’ve come to see and continue to see, as I face the troublesome times that we all experience in life; is that God is there for us. Sometimes I just think He’s waiting for us to call out for His help. Lately, I have especially come to see; that through the humble and broken down moments of life; is where we truly experience His loving and compassionate Spirit; so call out to Him today…for He’s waiting to lift you up and out of the troubled waters, with strong arms of love!
Many blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
