Rising Above Despair...On Wings of Love...

7/9/2017

Bible readings...
“The Lord your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes; (31) And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the Lord thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. (32) Yet in this thing ye did not believe the Lord your God,” Deuteronomy 1:30-32

Hello everyone! Welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad you decided to come and spend some special time with God and me today! My prayer for you; is that you will truly find what you’re looking for…something that will help you to rise above the despair in your life!

You know…while I was coming out of so much pain and deep heartache in my life; I saw God, as though He came to me on angels wings and as He swooped down below me…He caught me and transported me to a place; that made me feel above and way beyond the need of my heart. As He led me from one Bible verse to another and one thought to another, I began to see that God…in all His great power and wisdom, was willing to bend down to my level and save me from total destruction.

One thing I did learn at that time; was to not look at the solution through my eyes because I found over time; that what I expected God to do, was not necessarily what He had in mind, which in the end, would only bring great disappointment and a feeling of abandonment.

You know…if we could just let go of our problems and allow God to lift us up into His loving arms and care for us; then I’m sure that we would find in the end; that He truly knows what’s best for us. So many times, we try to figure God out, rather than allowing God to be God…then in the end, our hearts become broken even more, while we scratch our heads and wonder why God didn’t do it our way.

The thing that has helped me the most, when it comes to trusting God; is to look back on all He has already done in my life and those moments alone give me the strength to trust Him more. I wonder why we quickly forget the moments when God was there for us, when those moments should have made a big impact on our lives. Could it be that our focus hasn’t been on God? Could it be that we have become caught up in ourselves and our problems too much? No matter what may be the reason, we need to allow God to redirect our thinking back, to all that He has done for us and that will give us an anticipation to look for what He’s going to do next.

One other thing we need to do; is admit to ourselves that we aren’t strong enough to come through these difficult moments alone and from there, we need to pray for God to carry us away from the problems we’re facing, on His wings of love…a love that can take us to a place, where we can experience His sustaining power, until the problem has come to an end.

Today, we need to experience God, rather than the problems that Satan is placing in our paths and the only way that is going to happen; is when we start looking for something to be accomplished God’s way…not our own.

As we close…I pray that from this moment on, we will call upon the name of Jesus…not the name of our problem or anything about ourselves…just Jesus. I know from experience; that there is truly power in His name and once we are willing to let go of ourselves and our problems; then we will begin to truly experience all that a powerful God longs to do within our lives.
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
