“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4
“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:2-3
“All honor to God, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; for it is his boundless mercy that has given us the privilege of being born again so that we are now members of God’s own family. Now we live in the hope of eternal life because Christ rose again from the dead. 4 And God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.” I Peter 1:3-4
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Hello everyone…and a big welcome today, to Sunday Inspiration…through the Risen Hope Ministries! I am so glad that you stopped by today…and my prayer for you; is that you will truly come to see that there is hope, through the deepest and darkest moment of affliction…the greatest hope ever… HEAVEN!!
I remember a time in my life, as a little girl, when I would lie outside on the grass and look up to the sky and think to myself…this world will probably never end. Of course, I was only a small child, who hadn’t gotten to see what this real world was truly about…and even more, I hadn’t come to know Jesus yet.
As I began to grow up…never did I know that I would walk a long and difficult journey with Jesus…one that would take me through some very trying times…but one that would be used to help me see and understand Him, in one of the greatest ways ever.
Through time, I have come to truly see this world, as a world that won’t continue on forever; but rather, a world that has come to seem…more like a motel to me…a place where I will only reside for a little while, until my real home in heaven is finished and ready for me.
As we live in this world, we are faced with struggles and challenges every day; that can truly attempt to convey to us a message of no hope. These moments can become so overwhelming at times; that before we know it; we lose sight, of a place called Heaven…and instead, our thoughts and eyes become deeply attached to problems and things in this world that only longs to lead us to a place within the mind and heart that spells out total defeat.
Today…I’m not going to talk about the problems in this world…and today, I’m not going to talk about how bad life is or could be; but rather, I would like to paint a picture for you, of what I feel real hope is about…a hope that can be yours, just by knowing Jesus as your personal Savior…
“Someday soon, I will finally walk the last mile of this journey with Jesus. As I meet Him in Heaven, for the very first time, I will fall into the arms of One so true…the One who always stood beside me and never walked away…the One who became my best friend in life. You see…I will recognize Him because He will be the One with the nail scared hands and feet.
As I begin to take in all the beauty that’s surrounding me, I breathe a sigh of relief, as tears begin to fall down my face. As I look up to Jesus…He wipes the tears from my eyes, for the very last time…and it’s as if He is saying to me… “Diane, I knew the pathway wasn’t easy…for I cried with you too. It’s all right…it’s all over my child…for you will never suffer again.” From there, He loosens each shackle of pain and heartache; that has attempted to keep me in bondage and takes them away and exchanges them for a beautiful crown.
The scars that have marked my body, for so many years are no longer there and the rod that stiffened my leg is gone and now I’m able to run and jump again. I fall to my knees for the first time, as my eyes remain fixed on Jesus. As He gently lifts me to my feet, He presents me with a beautiful white robe.
As I begin to walk with Jesus, I turn around for the final time, as Heaven’s gates begin to close. Evil attempts to enter; but does not succeed…and this becomes the moment, when I begin to realize that I have truly reached a place of eternal hope…an eternal hope called Heaven!”
Blessings on your day!
It’s Always & Only Because of Him…
