August 15, 2019 | Good evening...

Good evening everyone...and how was your day? I had a very busy...but very great day! Do you know what that shows? That shows that even though the day was filled with challenges...God won out and Satan once more lost...praise Him!!
How many of us can say that we sit or lie on our beds at night and let the things of our day eat at us? As I was reading this Bible verse in I Peter 3:11 this evening; I was thinking on how we tend to pursue evil...above the good things in life...the things that could override evil and give us peace.
One thing I've been doing lately...before going to bed; is to ask God to give me strength, to let go of everything from the day; so my mind can bathe in His perfect peace. How will we ever feel a peace that passes all understanding, if first, we aren't willing to let go of the things that clog our minds and keep them cluttered with junk from the day. 
No matter what kind of a day you've had...and no matter what is going through your mind right now...empty it out, by giving everything to God; that He may make an exchange...your anxiety, worry and fear, for a perfect peace that can calm the most troublesome moments.
One thing I've truly learned over time; is that peace not only comes through prayer...but also through action. I truly believe that whatever we are pursuing; is what will come to us; so if you want to have a restful night...pursue God's peace...a peace that can ease the mind, while surrounding you with moments that can put your heart at rest with Him....then ask God to cover you with His almighty wings of love; that you may be safely protected and covered, with a peace that can keep you closely connected to Him, and further away from evil.
Until tomorrow...I pray that you will truly experience a peace that can put your minds and thoughts at rest...a peace that only comes from the Prince of Peace!
