Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! It’s so good to be back with you today…and my prayer for all of us; is that we will know in our hearts that God is a God that ALWAYS prevails…no matter what may attempt to take us down…Amen!
This morning as I was getting ready to begin my day, I was thinking on the evil that seems to be out of control in this world. Moments such as these can actually attempt to take our thoughts to a place where we feel that the lies and deception of this world will prevail above the truth. You know…I think the thing we need to do each day; is to remember that the power of evil can never supersede the power of God, even though these forms of deception have a way of making these difficult times seem so real. As I was focusing on these thoughts this morning; God began to take me to a Bible verse in Isaiah 54:17, which reads… “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me, says the LORD.” One thing I have truly come to see over my lifetime; is that God didn’t give us His word, just so we could read it like any other book or novel; but instead, He gave us His word to help us through these unexpected moments of life that would come our way. We must keep reminding ourselves of the power of God and focus solely on that power, rather than the so-called power that seems to be descending upon us through deceit…and even more, we must always remember that the blood of Jesus is much more powerful than any weapon formed against us through evil. During these trying times of life, we can question God, as to where He is in our lives and in this world; but the thing that God has taught me personally; is that everything doesn’t always happen in the way we think…or even in the timing in which we think it should happen. Even though these difficult moments of life can make us feel as if God has left us alone in the dark moments of despair; we can rest assured of one thing…Jesus didn’t defeat Satan at the cross, only to end up defeated. Yes…Satan is going to throw some pretty wicked weapons our way…weapons that he longs to defeat us with; but I know a God who will step in with sword and shield…to become the mighty warrior we need…One who will never allow any weapon of evil to prosper or succeed. As we close, I pray that we all will hold to this truth that God has given us in His word…and that we won’t allow ourselves to be drawn into deception; but that we will know in our hearts that God will ALWAYS be there for us…no matter what! Have a very blessed day in the Lord and I will see ya soon! God bless! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
