Hello everyone...and a very "Happy Friday" to you all! What a great day the Lord hath made! I hope that you are also rejoicing in this brand new day that God has given us all...and that you will not only rejoice; but take in every moment that God has awaiting you in your day!
We all know that facing a difficult trial in our lives is never easy. Many times, we seem tempted to give in and give up on all that is surrounding us at the time; but I have come to truly see that when we do this; then we are only allowing the journey to come to a halt, which only means that it's just going to take us that much longer to reach our destination. I remember a time in my life, when I would continually say... "I just want to give up!" In fact, there were several times, when I came very close to doing so; but through time, I came to see that we do grow stronger, with each obstacle we overcome in life, which only means that this new strength will help us even more, to continue the journey that God has set before us. If we are ever going to reach the end of this journey and take that final step into heaven; we might as well realize that it's going to take some persevering moments to do that. How is it that we are always looking for the easy route? Don't we realize that the easy route will only keep us where we've always been, rather than helping us to grow stronger in Christ? We must realize that our love and devotion to Christ just doesn't come through words alone...but rather, through the forms of action we take in life...and if we ever intend to receive all that God has promised to give us in the end...then we must press on and keep pursuing each step that lies before us. No matter what you may be facing today...don't let it abuse you and don't let it run your life; but rather, get up...shake these moments from you and go on a strength that will never fail you. Yes...the situations we face can be overwhelming at times; but when we choose to ignore these moments; that are only meant to take us down...then we will make it...and in the end; we will receive the crown of life...and why? Because our actions truly revealed our love and devotion to Christ...Amen!! As you continue this journey throughout this day...my prayer is that God will give you the strength to persevere and continue the journey that Christ has set before you! Have a great Friday...take good care and I will hope to see you again this evening! Many...many blessings on your day! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
