Peace in the Midst of the Storm...Sunday Words of Encouragement

Hello everyone...and a very happy and blessed Sunday to you all! This morning, I thought that I would stop by and give you a little titbit of hope for the day. You know...it seems now days that we all struggle for a little peace in our lives; so today, I thought that I would begin by sharing a favorite Bible verse with you, from John 14:27, which reads... "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
You know...I have found that when trouble arises...that the best thing to do is to seek God and His peace. In this world we live in...we only seem to find something temporary to help us; but I have truly found that when I attach my thoughts...heart to heart with God, rather than what the problem may be conveying to me at the time; then there is a peace...a lasting peace that can sustain and help during these difficult times.
Today you may have a lot on your mind...and maybe those thoughts are attempting to take you down. May I encourage you to lift your head above this dense fog of despair and look to the One who can truly take hold of these thoughts and exchange them for a perfect peace...one that can calm the troubled storm within...Amen!
