September 02, 2019 | Happy Monday!

Hello everyone...and a "Happy Labor Day" to you! Well here we go...another start to a new week, which means that the old is gone...and everything is now becoming new...a day that is now filled with new possibilities and new beginnings...praise God!!
As I look back on my life, I can truly say like the verse above..."Because of the Lord's great love for me, I was not consumed, during the darkest moments of my life...and once again, every morning keeps taking me one step further away from the past...to new days...great is His faithfulness!"
You know...I remember a time in my life...quite a few years back, when the surgeries and pain became more frequent, to the place where I had to be put on some pretty strong medications. After everything healed and I came through those moments...it was now time to get off those pain meds, which I wasn't looking forward to. 
One thing God taught me, as I went through this new experience, was to not focus on how difficult it was...but to know that as each day passed...that was taking me one step closer to a complete healing from these meds. Now, it's been around 10+ years since that day...and even though I deal with a very chronic pain; God has not only freed my body from these controlling meds; but He has taught me through time; that His mercies are new every day, which has given me hope...to anticipate what may be before me, rather than what has already taken place.
You know...sometimes, I think that we become so drawn into how difficult life can be; that we completely bypass verses such as these; that can bring hope to us and keep our minds distant, from what is actually taking place in our lives at the time. 
No matter what you may be facing right now...just know that with each passing day, you are drawing one step closer to a new dawn...a time, when everything you have faced, will end up becoming a distant memory, while you reach forth to something new...something that God has just for you...so never give up!
Today, I truly pray that you will enjoy the holiday...and for those who are caught up in the hurricane right now...just know that my prayers are with you...and so is God. Please take care...enjoy the day and I will hope to be with you this evening!
