Hello everyone...and a very happy and blessed Sunday to you! What a beautiful Sunday it is! It's cloudy outside and it looks like rain...but the Spirit of the living God surrounds me this morning...and that is what truly makes my day beautiful...Amen!
Today, I want to thank God...that He knew just what we would need in a week! He knew how many hours we would need, for it to be daylight...and just as He knew the amount of sleep we would need for a night...He also knew that we would need one day in the week, where we could rest from our labor. Lately...I have come to see Sunday, as a true gift from God...especially, with all the work I do throughout the week. This is truly His way of caring for us...and when we don't open this free gift of rest...then how do we expect to be renewed and refreshed, for another week ahead. On Sunday...I usually lie down in the afternoon, for several hours...and as I do; I ask God to renew me with His Spirit...because most of the time, I'm pretty much drained out from the past week...and when I do this; God truly enters my spirit and gives me a new strength that can help me press on, into another new week. You know...it's amazing, as to how a little extra rest can make the week ahead seem much brighter. I don't know about you...but when I get up from my rest on Sunday...my heart and my mind feel rejuvenated and ready to start anew...and I also find that this time of rest helps me to see life in a better way. No matter what you have been going through this week...take a little time to get some rest...and look at these moments as an opportunity, for God to renew you and strengthen you...and I'm sure that you will come to see how this limitless God can give you the strength and all you need, to keep pressing on, in this week ahead. Today, I pray that your day will be filled with the peace of God...a peace that can exchange the anxieties and frustrations of the previous week, for a time of renewal...one that can lead you to a brand new start! Have a great and blessed Sunday...and I will hope to be with you again this evening! It's Always & Only Because of Him... Diane Comments are closed.
