September 13, 2019 | Happy Friday!

Hello everyone...and a "Happy Friday" to you! Praise God...we made it through another week! I truly pray that your day is going well...and that you will TRULY feel the presence of ALMIGHTY GOD, as you walk through your day!
As you can probably notice...I'm doing better today...and no, I'm not on any pain medication. The only pain medication that has helped me over the past 24 hours...has been the prayers of those around me.
You know...how many times are we going to try and whether the storms of life alone? Don't we realize that we are only going to get beat up, by the wind of evil...and the raindrop tears of despair? I praise God today; that when I am hurting or in need; that I can make Him my hiding place...a place where I can be preserved, from the storms that are only meant to take me away from God. 
I remember many times in the past, when I would just stand out in the storms that I was facing...but I found out through time; that getting head strong, while trying to muddle through on my own...only allowed the storm to abuse me more. 
Today, we need to take shelter in a God, who can sustain us and give us rest, during these trying times...and even though the storm continues to rage around us; we truly have the hope that God will deal with the storm, while we are resting in Him.
No matter what storm has come your way...don't try to stand strong on your own...for like I said...these storms will only continue to weaken us and abuse us, until we find it difficult to press on. May I encourage you today, to run to God and take shelter under His almighty wings of love...and let Him bring you through the storms; that Satan has attempted to bring you down with!
My prayer today...is that we will find the strength through God, to let go of everything, except for Him...that we may let Him be the shelter we need, until the storm has passed by!
