Hello everyone…and a happy and very blessed Thursday to you all! I truly hope and pray that your day is going well…and that you will come to see throughout this day; that we truly serve a God, who can do ALL things…no matter what we may face in life…Amen!!
As we begin our time together, I would like to encourage you by saying; that I know a God who can do anything, with anything we go through. As I’ve been sitting here this morning…looking out to a rainy and dreary day; God reminded me of a time in my life, when I thought that I would never be where I am today. You see…I was so overwrought by pain and deep…deep heartache; that I could not see any way out. As I wandered in circles…lost within a wilderness of despair, I truly began to feel as if this would be my lot in life; but one day…God began to turn all of that around. At a time in my life, when I felt as if I was headed for total destruction; God began to rise up with me…out of the muck and mire of my despair…and He began to take me through, what I like to call a “spiritual boot camp.” I may have not felt lost anymore…but I was truly feeling the side effects of what God was allowing at the time. Here, I felt as if these feelings were only making life worse, when all along they were pointing me in a different direction…one that would eventually give me the heart to reach out to others in despair. This morning, as I was listening to some music on my headset, I began to look through some Bible verses and God led me to a couple verses that truly took hold of me…and they are found in Ephesians 3:20-21…and we read… “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21) Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” The part of this verse that truly took hold of me; is where it says… “Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Now why would God allow these words to be in the Bible, if first, He wasn’t able to stand on these promises; that He’s making to us? I think the problem we have; is that we are too focused on where the circumstance may lead us; that our faith becomes weakened…to the place, where we can’t see anything good coming out of these difficult times. I know that this is what I thought, at one time in my life. When I look back on my life, I see a girl that struggled in everything. While my brothers and sister got A’s and B’s in school…I struggled for C’s and D’s, along with much more…but you know what? I’ve come to see that God truly can take the worst and make it His very best; we just need to see it His way, rather than what the circumstance is attempting to convey to us. Today, I praise God that He never gave up on me; but instead, He stuck to His word and every promise He has made to me…and now, as I sit here with you today, I see a woman that has truly come to see, how her God can do anything…with anything…praise Him! As we close, I pray that you too will come to see that no matter where you are in life; that there is a God, who can take hold of anything you may be facing…to make it into something very special…for He is a God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…AMEN!! Well…time for me to begin my day. I truly pray that you will come to see and experience a God who is greater than anything you face in life! Have a great Thursday…take care and I will see you soon! Many…many blessings on your day! It’s Always & Only Because of Him… Diane Comments are closed.
