Weds...May 20, 2020 | Walking Down Unknown Roads with an All-Knowing God

How many times have we chosen to walk down roads where God wasn’t there? In other words…how many times have we taken a detour road off the beaten path; because we have chosen to believe what Satan was attempting to convince us of? I have truly come to see that these roads only lead a person through endless miles of needless travel and needless suffering.
As I’ve been sitting here…spending some precious moments with God, I was reminded as to how important it is to always remain close to Him, especially during the struggles we are facing right now. I don’t know about you; but I don’t want to be on any uncertain road in life, without God being there with me.
These uncertain roads that we tend to fall prey to; is only a set up by Satan, to twist our lives around and remove us from the presence of God. In other words…these roads can attempt to make us believe that this is a route that will lead us away from what is hurting us, when all along, these roads are meant to walk us into more hurt and confusion. Also, these difficult times that we are facing right now, has a tendency to make us panic and feel desperate…to hurriedly find the way out of what we are experiencing; but even though we may feel this way; we should never take off and emotionally travel a path of our own choosing without God being right there by our side.
I have come to see that Satan has a way of camouflaging these roads that he attempts to sidetrack us on, while making them appear as though these roads are truly the answer that may even lead us to God’s very best, when all along he is taking advantage of a weak moment…to enhance the difficult times we are already walking through.
I wonder how many times we have traveled somewhere…thinking that we already knew the way…only to find out later that we are lost; without any knowledge, as to how we can get back to where we should be. In a way, this is what happens, when we feel we know the answers to our own problems…and this is when we find ourselves lost and distant from the One, who truly does know the way.  
One thing we must remember each day; is to always take God with us…especially while facing these unknown and different moments of life. This is exactly what I have learned to do, as I begin each new day. In fact…when God and I have finished the ministry work for the morning…and it’s time to begin something new; I don’t leave Him in the office alone; but rather, I invite Him to walk and be right there with me…no matter what I may need to do. When I know He’s right there beside me; then I also know that there won’t be any room for Satan to step in and distract me or lure me down some unknown road; that will only worsen my day.
No matter how difficult life may seem right now…it’s only going to become even more difficult, when we choose to walk down a path of our own choosing; so remember…don’t take one step into another new day, without Jesus being there right beside you.
