Do You Feel Hopelessly Lost Within a Circumstance?

12/22/2021

Hello everyone…and what a great day it is to praise the Lord! You know, sometimes it's not always easy to find the strength to praise God; because moments of adversity have a way of sidetracking us and before we realize it, we feel distant from this great God we once longed to praise, which can make us feel lost and alone in a world of our own…a world where we only feel the blows of what we may be facing at the time; but today, I would like to encourage you by saying that God isn't a God who leaves us lost in these moments; but rather, He is a God who will come to us and help us find the path again, in which we were once on. Praise Him for that!
As I was thinking on this more last night, God began to lead me to a couple Bible verses in Isaiah 30:20-21, and we read… "And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner anymore, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: 21) And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left." In other words, even though God may allow adversity and affliction to enter our lives, He will never take His eyes from us; because He knows that times like these can cause us to sometimes become sidetracked in life; but the good thing is that when we find ourselves in this predicament, He will always be right there to guide us safely back to the path we were once on.
Maybe today, you are not only feeling the side effects of a problem; but maybe that problem has been used by Satan to lead you off the path you were once on…to walk you into unknown territory.  Moments like these sure have a way of making us feel so lost and alone…to the place where we don't know what to do or even as to how we will ever get back to where we once were. I don't know how many times I experienced this in the past…and it's not a good feeling; but as I look back on those times, I can tell you for sure that I was never forgotten by God.
Today I just want to encourage you and give you hope, by saying that even though the Lord may have allowed you to face sorrow or pain at this time; He will still remain with you until His reason for that moment of suffering has come to an end. When we choose to let God become our teacher, while we look to Him as His pupil, rather than panicking from a circumstance that really has no control over us; then that will be the moment when we will begin to see that He hasn't hidden Himself from us or walked away; but instead, he is right there beside us, saying… "This is the way, walk ye in it."
Sometimes I think that we become frustrated with moments such as these because we are so tied up in a problem and where it has led us; that we begin to feel as if we will never walk out of it; but the gift of hope that I want to leave with you today, is that there is One who sees everything…and He already knows just how to help you; but first, you must let go of the feelings that are only keeping you in this lost place of despair.
As we close this time together, my prayer for you is that God will always give you the strength to be His pupil…one who is no longer connected with the problem; but one who is completely connected with a God who can direct your steps and lead you out of the difficult moments of despair…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and I will look forward to another visit with you tomorrow! God bless!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
