Hello everyone…and how are you doing today? My morning is starting out much better…praise God for that! As I've been looking back on what I had been facing over the weekend, I've also been thinking on a moment when the pain and tiredness had taken such a toll on me; that I found myself saying to God… "I feel so lost!"
Later last night, as I was spending time with God, I began to question Him, as to why I may have spoken those words. From there, He began to show me that it was because everything I had been facing at the time had made me feel as if I was going from one detour road or problem to another, which actually was making me feel lost in a maze of problems. I don't know what you are going through at this time; but one thing I have truly come to see, is that when we find ourselves going from one bad thing to another; then these moments definitely have a way of making life seem so overwhelming; and they can especially make us feel lost within these problems, until we begin to feel that there is no way out. This morning, I would like to encourage you, by saying that there is a way out…and how does that happen…by placing our trust in God, rather than what we see before us. You see…when we become caught up within a maze of problems…that seems to be taking us no way in life; then we can find it so easy to just sit down…give up and wallow in self-despair. The remedy we truly need. is what it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, which reads…"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6) In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Let's face it, when we find ourselves in a maze of problems; there's just no way that we can even begin to find a way out on our own; so, the only way we are going to come out of the mess we're in; is to trust God to lead us out…and that doesn't come by holding tightly to our problems. No…we need to let go of everything and submit it all to God, so He can make the path straight for us, which in the end will help us to walk easily out of these times. As I look back on Saturday evening…when I felt the worst; I now see that the only way that I was able to come out of the overwhelming feelings of being lost within those painful moments, was when I emptied every part of my being out before God. I don’t why; but we all seem to find the need to hold tightly to our problems; but do we realize what this is doing to us? I would say that it is only going to take us deeper within the maze of these problems. Today, do you feel as if one problem is only leading you to another? Do you feel as if you are zigzagging through life, while feeling lost within a maze of problems…one that Satan has personally led you down? Satan definitely has a way of taking us through these overwhelming moments; but I've experienced a God who can make these crooked paths straight, so we can come out of the mess that Satan has placed us in; but that only happens, when we stop figuring out which direction to take on our own. Instead, we need to trust a God who can look deep within the maze and help us to exit the problems that have sidetracked us in life. As we close our time together, I pray that no matter what you are facing; that you will come to see that the Lord is the only One who can lead you out of the maze you're in…and I pray that as you place your complete trust in Him and let go of everything; that you will come to truly see that these crooked paths can be made straight once more…and that they can lead you out of these moments of despair…Amen!! Have a very blessed day…and I will look forward to another visit with you tomorrow…God bless!
