Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! I sure hope that you're having a nice day! You know…for some, Wednesday's can be a difficult time, as this is the hump in the week. It seems as though we tend to focus more on how we still have another half of a week ahead of us, rather than how far we've already come. Today, I pray that this writing will help those of us, who feel as if we are already running on fumes or little strength, to truly see that with God's strength…all things are possible to those who believe…Amen!
Lately, I have really been struggling with chronic pain and tiredness…and moments such as these truly have a way of taking over our minds and bodies, until we find ourselves feeling as if we're just too exhausted to continue on. Isn't it amazing, as to how we follow after and believe more in the symptoms of our problems, rather than the little reminders of hope that we have picked up along the way through God's word? I guess this is Satan's plan of sidetracking us, so he can keep us away from the hope we desperately need. The other night, I was looking through some Bible verses and God led me to a great one in Isaiah 40:29, and we read… "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength." You know…just because we are tired, and we feel as if we just can't make it anymore; that doesn't mean that this is the end of the road for us. Think of it this way…when a car is low on gas, we can take it to a gas station and fill the tank with the gas needed to continue our journey. In a similar way, when we are running low on strength; we too can turn to God and allow Him to fill us up with a perfect strength that can continue to help us to move forward in life. One thing that can bring us hope today; is that even though we may feel that all of our strength has been completely drained from us, due to whatever we may be facing at the time; that just isn't true; otherwise, God's perfect strength would have nothing to take hold of. I don't know about you; but there can be days when I feel as if I just won't make it one more step. The pain that comes from my legs has a way of tiring a body that has been walking this road for many years. Moments such as these have a way of convincing the mind that all strength is gone…and that I'm finished; but then I stop…relax and remember that these thoughts are only little whispers that come from a deceptive voice of evil…one that is not only attempting to make me give up on life; but also, on this ministry. One thing I've truly learned over the years; is to do the complete opposite of what Satan wants me to do; but right about now, you are probably saying to me… "But Diane, how can I do that, when I have no strength…and I'm drained from all I've been through?" First, we need to make a stop into the presence of almighty God and let Him fill us up with a strength that can put our lives into overdrive. Once we can do this, rather than sitting along the road on empty; that is when we can continue on, while leaving Satan and his deceptive thoughts along the wayside. Oh Lord…how I pray for those who feel as if life has taken them down to nothing. My prayer today is that you would revitalize them and renew them in your spirit; that they may be able to continue on. May they not give up and remain along the wayside; but may they come to see how your strength can be made perfect through their weakness. Thank you, Lord; that you are ALWAYS there for us…and thank you even more; that we have you to turn to, during difficult times such as these. ALWAYS let us feel your presence beside us…and may we hear your still small voice within our spirits, rather than the voice of deception; for it's in Your Holy Name I pray this…Amen!! Have a great day…and ALWAYS know that God's strength is available to you…anytime you need it! Take care and I will look forward to another great visit with you again tomorrow! God bless you much!
