Hello everyone! Well, we have now reached the end of our week and I hope it's been a good one for you! I've been very busy as usual; but God has definitely been my strength and I praise Him for that today!!
For those of you who may be new to the blog page, I have been doing a series of writings throughout these past couple of days…and one thing I can say for sure; is that today's title is one that I have experienced a lot of throughout my life. You know…it's not always easy for a person who feels as if they are living in a world of their own…one that may experience pain and deep heartache; because a life such as this can make a person feel as if no one will ever understand what they are going through…and if they can't understand that person's feelings; then how will they ever know how to care about their feelings. One thing I can say for sure; is that it's so easy for someone to speak words and say they care; but the thing I'm looking for is this…do their actions follow their words. As we are going through these end times, I think the thing I observe the most; is how uncaring people have become. There used to be a day when someone would reach out and lend a helping hand and care about those in need; but from my viewpoint, I just don't see that…in the way it once used to be. Maybe today, you are feeling lost in a world of your own…a world where you just feel as if no one could ever understand what you are going through at this time. May I encourage you, by beginning with a Bible verse that has truly touched my own heart, and it's found in Psalm 40:17, which reads… "But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God." Today, do you feel as if no one is paying attention to you, during an hour of need? Do you feel that if you only had someone to understand and care about what you are facing right now; that this would help you? If so, then let me recommend someone to you…One who will listen to your heart and truly understand every painful moment you're walking through…and His name is Jesus Christ. You know…I remember many times in my life, when I would talk with someone about the brokenness, I was going through at the time…and from there, they would quickly say… "I understand;" but throughout the rest of the conversation, I came to see that they really didn't; it was only words. Yes…I've had people help me around the home and I've greatly appreciated the help; but that was for the severity of my legs…not my heart. In fact, there were times, when I used to visit someone and the first thing, they would ask me; is how are the legs. Again…I truly appreciated their concern; but what I needed at the time, was for someone to care for me as a person. As I walked through many dark and dismal moments throughout my life, it was those moments that drew me to a friend who longed to listen to my heart. In fact, it was Jesus that came knocking at my heart's door…and it was Him who came to pull up a chair within the heart and listen to every broken moment that I was facing at that time. One thing I can say for sure about Jesus; is that He won't just let you know He cares about you through His word; but rather, He will truly show it to you. In fact, He's One who listens to the heart and longs to reach out and hold us in His loving arms…and all we have to do, is invite Him into the brokenness that we are experiencing at the time. No matter what you may be going through right now, just know that you don't have to sit alone in your ashes of despair, when there is One who longs to sit there with you. Once you can let go of the feelings that have made you feel that no one cares; that is when you will be able to reach out to One who truly cares…and from there, you too will begin to experience what I have come to see…a love that doesn't let go; but rather, a love that draws you even closer to Himself…One who truly cares about your heart. As we close, my prayer for you is that you will find the strength to let go of the broken moments in your life…moments that made you feel that no one really cared about you; that you may be able to reach out to One who truly longs to listen to your heart and care just for you…Amen!! Have a very blessed weekend and I will look forward to another visit with you on Monday! God bless!
