Sometimes I Feel Like God Doesn't Love Me

1/13/2022

Hello everyone…I hope that you are having a great start to your day! Last night, as I was relaxing in the evening, I was thinking on what God would have me to share with you today and as I searched from my heart to His, the first thing He wanted me to remind you of, is that He will always love you…no matter what.
You know…we live in a world where love isn't always real. People seem to speak the words," I love you;" but when times get tough; that is when we really see if those words hold meaning or if they are just empty words. Due to experiencing this kind of love here on earth, we can also see God's love in a similar way.
One thing I would like to share with you today, is found in Psalm 139:7-10, where it says… "Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10) Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." In other words, no matter where these circumstances take us, or no matter what wrong we may have done; God is still there, which means that He has a love for us like no other…a love that doesn't run away from us when something goes wrong; but rather, a love that draws closer to us, during times such as these.
I don't know about you; but I can experience moments from time to time, when I feel so weighed down from the pain I experience; that I begin to see myself as nothing…only a person who feels as if she is barely existing. If we are honest with ourselves…moments such as these can take a toll on us, to a place where we feel abandoned by God; and these moments can also make us feel as if we are in a world of our own…one where no one else could ever understand what we are feeling at the time.
Maybe today, you are feeling weighed down by a problem…one that has brought you down to an all-time low…one that has made you feel worthless in the eyes of God. Let me encourage you right now with another Bible verse from I John 4:10, which says… "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
During the hard and difficult times of life, do we ever stop to think that God was the One who loved us first…right from the very beginning? Yes, we may show our love to Him; but He was the first to truly demonstrate His love to us, through His Son's death on the cross. Now stop and think to yourself…how could that kind of love walk away from you? Here He was the One who came to you first…the One who created you, because He longed to love you.
We must realize that the only reason we feel unloved by God, while going through these hard times; is because Satan is using the circumstance to bring us to a place where we feel so low and unworthy of God's love; that we begin to truly believe it, which can also be used as an attempt to remove us from the presence of God.
As we close, I would like to leave you with several other Bible verses that I feel will help you to know without a doubt that God does truly love you and they are found in Romans 8:38-39, which reads… "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
You know…circumstances have a way of making us feel unloved and uncared for by those around us; but on the other hand, I have truly come to see that there is another love that can be trusted…a perfect love…one that will never walk away from us or forsake us; and once we can truly separate this worlds so-called love from the perfect love of God; that is when we will truly experience a love that never let's go…a love that will always be with us…no matter what we may face in this life.
Today, I pray that you will not only read about God's love for you; but that you will truly come to experience His love, in a very real way…a way that will always bring comfort to your heart, while facing the hard and difficult times of life…Amen!
Have a very blessed day and ALWAYS know that God's got you and that He will never stop loving you…no matter what!
God bless…and I will look forward to another great visit with you tomorrow!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
Diane
