*Let this God inspired writing...from his heart to ours, be a reminder;
that we can never be victorious in life...and escape the traps of failure,
without Jesus by our side...working with us, to overcome.
Life's struggles and challenges can cause us to plummet down. It's bad enough that we fail at the things we strive for; but to fail as a Christian, can sometimes cause us to feel so unworthy in God's sight.
Is it that we react in this way...because we feel as Christians that we should be perfect? Have we allowed others or even ourselves, to place expectations on us; that we aren't capable of living up to, without God's help? Maybe it's because we are busy being a people pleaser...even to God. We know that our aim should always cause us to strive, to be more like Christ; but yet...are we trying to do it alone...without His help and guidance?
One thing we know through failure; is that we haven't been perfected enough, to always succeed on our own. Maybe God is trying to reach us and get our attention...that we may be able to succeed through Him, rather than fail miserably alone...for where we leave off; God is more than capable, to take over from there.
Another question we should ask ourselves is this...maybe we are trying to climb a steep step alone, without His help or strength, which would definitely lead to a fall. Maybe...just maybe, there would be less failures in our lives; if first, we would truly come to admit that we can't do it alone. In this way, I would think that this humble way of handling a problem, would send a clear message to God; that it's time for Him to step in and help us.
Let's face it...as humans, we strive to be independent...and that is good to some degree; but a time has to come, when we realize that we are utterly incapable of going it alone. If we ever plan to be overcomers, rather than failures in life; then we need to go back to a time, when God did it for us...for He gave us a gift...a helping hand in life...and He was the One who instantly rescued us, from the messes of life; that would cause us to fail, while restoring us, to where He longed for us to be...so go back to the cross and reconnect with Jesus...God's Son...the One who longs to keep you victoriously free...through the death of the cross. Don't let Satan take you down to failure, by walking the path of life without Jesus; but instead, let Him fill in the gap and continue on for you...from where you left off, due to weakness; that He might be the stronghold you need...to keep you from failure...Amen!!
