*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours; help you to get your focus on a powerful God, rather than a weak circumstance.
What causes our hearts to lift in praise to God and what overwhelms us...to the place that we cannot contain the feelings we have deep within? It's not only through the things He does for us; but even more, it's about who He truly is.
Just think...this God we serve doesn't have to work hard with His hands, to get the job done; but rather, it's with one spoken word that it comes into existence. As breath spews from His mouth, it sends power on all He speaks it to do. Take a look around you. Who has set boundaries around lakes and oceans; that they should not flood the earth? Who knows just the right time, for the sun to rise and awaken us from sleep and when it should set, with beautiful colors of peace; that can cause us to rest, at the end of a day? Who sends rain to water the earth, while bringing gentle breezes...to bring a cool and refreshing feeling, during a hot summers day? All of these are only the outer fringe of God's powerful personality.
How can we see and experience these moments around us each day...but yet doubt the power of this awesome God? Don't we realize that our own personal schemes carry no power within to succeed?
One thing that makes this God a powerful God; is not only the things He controls each day; but it's also how His plan for each of our lives stands firm and true...despite what attempts to stop it. Just think...no other power can add or take away, from what God has destined for us, since birth. The day He made us...He also had a plan for our lives. Maybe life will attempt to take us down different paths than planned; but with the power of God in control; we will also end up, at the place He first destined us to be; so why do we worry and even try to make life work our own way, when this powerful God is going to get us to the right place...on time?
Instead of succumbing to the power of a weak problem; let us place our hope in the One who is not only powerful; but the One who has already proven to be a God of hope...for as we hope in Him...more power and mercy is given to us.
