*Let this God inspired writing...from His heart to yours, be a heartfelt prayer...
one that helps you to focus on the power of a great and mighty God,
rather than the so-called power, of a weak circumstance.
Oh how I choose to give You praise, Lord...for You have been a merciful, loving and faithful God to me. How quickly, we tend to forget the moments, when You rescued us, from a destructive pit; that was dug by Satan himself. Let us turn our thoughts away once more, from the one who longs to continually separate us from Your Holy presence. Oh, how Your love has carried us, to where we are today...and it's Your strength that keeps us standing, during the difficult moments of weakness.
How is it that we choose to focus on a circumstance; that can never compare to the power and strength; that is contained within Yourself? All of heaven even praises You...for Your great wonders...and who else but You could have brought us through the troubled waters and lonesome valleys, of our yesterdays?
Oh Lord, when we focus on Your greatness, over everything else; we see a God who rules and has control over all that You have created. The sun itself doesn't even know when to shed light upon the earth...or when to bring darkness, without the voice of your command. You are the One, who paints strokes of color across the sky in the evening...to bring peace and a calmness over the land. It's only through Your finger in the sand; that boundary lines are made; so the lakes and oceans don't flood the earth, while Your presence alone calms the storm tossed waves. Everything is under Your control...and is only where it is...because of a God, who is so much greater than we could ever fathom.
If we see the power in Your presence around us; then why is it so difficult to fathom the control You have over us, as your created ones too? Are You not the same for us, as You are, for this planet that you have suspended in mid air...or the stars that hang in space? If You are strong and powerful...beyond what we could ever think or imagine; then why do we see our circumstances, as something that could possibly be greater than this God, who has control over all things? Is it that our thoughts are so tightly fixed on these difficult times; that these thoughts are now actually feeding into the problem, while allowing the problem to increase in strength, which allows us to see our circumstance, as something greater than God?
Happy is the one, who can still see and experience the power of a God, who will always remain greater than anything they face...the one who isn't drawn into the difficult times; but the one who can continue to walk in the light of Your presence...no matter how dark the path may seem; for it's what and whom we believe in; that will either keep us in a standstill...or will help us to keep pressing on.
Let us continually focus on Your strength, Lord...and who You truly are; that we may never find ourselves questioning Your ways...or even find ourselves focusing on moments; that may only keep us in bondage.
As Your children and as the God You truly are; we know in our hearts; that it's not Your desire, to keep us in weakness; but rather, it pleases You, to make us stronger and deeply drawn to You, during the difficult times...so we continue to walk in Your ways; that in the end; we may experience the fullness of this strong and powerful God...Amen!!
