Tuesday...January 22, 2019

Hello everyone…“Happy Tuesday”…and a big welcome to “A New Day of New Hope Blog!” It’s so good to have you here with me today…and I pray that as we spend this special time together; that we will truly feel the love that God has for each of us, as we prepare to begin another new day!
 
As I got up and began another new week yesterday, I was still feeling a little tired from the previous week. My health and a busy schedule seem to be constantly reminding me, as to how I truly need a powerful God in my life every day.
 
Anyways…after getting up and struggling to get these two legs moving, I started to head into the bathroom, to get around and get started for the day. While standing by the vanity, I began to feel God’s presence surrounding me…and thoughts began to enter my mind…that truly were coming from Him. Since I already had an ink pen in the bathroom…I grabbed a piece of tissue and tried to quickly write down the words that were coming to my thoughts…but do you think the pen would work…no; so I went into my office and quickly jotted down these words… “How you view the start of your day; is how it will become all throughout the day."…which I’m sure was a little reminder from God’s heart to mine, as I was facing a different kind of morning…which goes to show that God is always ready to care for His own.
 
Later, as I began to start my day…these words that God had given me, were sinking deep within my thoughts and heart; as I also began to share them on Twitter. It seems as though lately…God has been really working with me…to keep me pointed in His direction. Through these trying times in my life, I have come to truly see that our attitudes will either take us down to Satan’s level or lift us up to God’s level…it’s all in how we perceive the problems we’re facing.
 
The other night…just before going to bed, I was feeling pretty exhausted. Everything that day had taken a toll on my body and as I began to get off the daybed…to stand to my feet; it was all I could do, to hoist my body off the bed. As I sat back down, for another few minutes…I was talking with my husband Keith and saying that there would be no way that I could do what I’m doing; if it wasn’t for God holding me up with His strength.
 
You know…we can become so caught up in the moments that are attempting to take us down; that we completely bypass the reasons, for why we are still able to press on…stand up or even continue to pursue life in itself. Many times, we wonder where God is…when all along, He was there all the time. We just missed Him because we were too caught up in what was bothering us at the moment.
 
Today, I thank God for the little reminders He gives me; for these words truly help me to keep going in His direction, rather than my own. Just think on what a day could be like, if we were to start out the day with God…and in the right frame of mind. Rather than getting caught up in what is or what could be happening in our lives; maybe it’s time to start out the day, by looking for something to praise Him for. I truly believe that when we start out the day on the right foot; then we will be able to keep standing…with God’s help, all throughout the day!
 
Well…I’ve truly enjoyed our time together today…and I hope that your day will be a good one! Remember one thing, as we close…whatever you perceive, will be what you receive throughout the day!
