After yesterdays writing, I began to focus even more on all that God had blessed my heart with, while spending those quiet moments alone with Him…and as I did; He reminded me that every difficult moment is only meant to take us deeper with Him. I have come to truly see throughout my life that moments such as these do cause us to look up, while feeling at rock bottom; because when a person is at rock bottom…the only place to look is up.
A bible verse that God has used numerous times in my life is found in Romans 8:28, which says… "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
I don't know about you; but when I'm knocked down in life…all I can seem to focus on at the moment; is where these moments are attempting to take me; but recently God has shown me that this only leads to other problems, stress and a very overwhelming feeling of no hope. Let's face it…we are all human and we are all prone to falling prey to moments such as these; but we must remember that falling prey to evil; is as though we have taken "evil" by the hand…and have given "evil" permission to lead us further down the path that it has already placed us on…only to suffer needlessly in the end.
As I look back on my life, I remember traveling down the dusty and narrow roads of life…and I also remember walking through waters that have made me feel as if they would swallow me up; but I can say that every valley has caused me to look up to God, while every burden eventually made me stronger than I was before. You see…this is what experiencing a circumstance is all about. It's not about weakening us or leading us to a place of destruction; but instead, God uses what Satan afflicts us with, to make us even better people for Him…and when we can see our circumstances in this way; that is when we will begin to truly believe that God is using everything bad, to produce something even greater within our lives.
The encouragement that I would like to offer you today; is to know that even though you may feel thrown down in life…you are not defeated…and even though you may be worn down and tired of all that you have experienced…you don't have to give up …and why…because even though you find yourself at rock bottom…moments such as these become a form of humbleness before God…and once He sees you at a place, where you can barely stand on your own; that is when He will come and lift you up…but only this time with Him.
Have a very blessed day…and remember to look up to God…for He is there…waiting to help you!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
