Lately, it seems as though my life has become more of a challenge to get through. Pain levels spike at times, while tiredness attempts to take over my complete being. With every early morning wake up…comes more moments of pain and the struggle to press on. I have to be honest with you…sometimes I think to myself…how much longer can my body endure all of this; but then God seems to step in and remind me that He is the One who has control over my life…not the pain or tiredness.
In Job 1:12, we read…“And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.” In this reading…God was having a conversation with Satan over Job and Satan was about to be used by God to test Job…even though Satan didn’t see it, in the same way that God had planned. Even though God was allowing this to take place in Jobs life; He still had control…and the boundary lines were laid out, as He stated to Satan… “…only upon himself put not forth thine hand.”
You know…we can feel as if our circumstances are taking us by the hand, while leading us in a direction of total defeat; but we must always remember that no matter what God allows…He’s the One in charge…and He has the final say, which gives us hope, during these trying times.
No matter what is taking place in your life today; always know that there is a strength that is greater than weakness and that strength comes from a God, who has complete control, over every weak moment that we may walk through! Praise Him!!
