God is in Control...

Last night…just before the sun began to set, I sat here in my office and just quietly observed everything outside my window. As I looked over to a rustic wooden fence in the yard, I could see that the sun had been shining through the leaves, which actually made beautiful silhouettes of the leaves on the fence. As a gentle breeze began to move each leaf…it was as if they were dancing in the sunlight, of that old lookin fence.
 
As I continued to sit in my office and watch what was taking place before me…my thoughts began to focus on the power, of a great and awesome God…One that truly has control over all things…for He was actually the One, who was controlling each movement…of each leaf.
 
In Job 12:10, we read…“In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.” What an awesome Bible verse…for these words are truly giving us an insight, of a God who is in control of every living thing.
 
How many times, are we going to allow ourselves to walk through needless moments of suffering…only because we choose to focus only on the knowledge of God, rather than the wisdom that speaks truth, of who He really is?
 
I have come to see that when I focus on each cloud that passes…or each color of a sunset; that changes from one moment to another; then I am also getting a glimpse of the control God truly has, over everything around me.
 
I believe that when we can see God’s mighty and controlling hand at work around us; then these moments will become a reminder, as to how He has control over our lives, which will help us to focus more on Him, rather than the circumstance.
 
No matter what you’re facing today…just take a little time to focus on God’s powerful hand at work around you…for these moments will truly become a gentle reminder; that God also has control, over every part of your being! Praise God…what hope!!
