Today, my mind is reminiscing back to the many, many moments that God has been with me and I praise Him, for a faithfulness and mercy that never ceases!!
The other day, I was beginning to feel as though my body was going on fumes. As some of you may already know…I live a very busy life for God. My schedule starts at 7:30 am and sometimes never ends until 10:30 or 11:00 at night. Anyways…as I was walking through a day that made me wonder if I could even write; it was God who stepped in and continued to give me the words that would not only be there for you but for me too. I found that His presence was continually reminding me, of what needed to be done in my day, which was truly a blessing to me.
How is it that we completely bypass the loving mercy that God continues to offer us each day? I have truly found that when I am weak and can’t seem to make it; that it’s His loving mercy that steps in and becomes a reminder to me that He is always there for me…no matter what time of the day it may be.
Today I would like to share a Bible verse with you; that has always been a reminder to me, of God’s loving mercy, which is found in Lamentations 3:22-23 and we read…“Because of the Lord’s gracious love we are not consumed, since his compassions never end. (23) They are new every morning—great is your faithfulness!”
When I think about God’s loving mercy, I see a boundary line that is placed before me and the weakness that I may be experiencing at the time…and that boundary line of mercy is a reminder to me; that God has everything under control. In fact, this boundary line becomes the line that keeps me from going over a cliff, to total destruction. You know…even though there can be very trying moments in a day; it's God’s loving boundary line of mercy that actually sustains us and keeps us headed in the right direction.
You know…it’s so easy to become caught up in what is happening around us; that we begin to convince ourselves that we are about to fall to a place of total defeat. If we would just take the time to think about Gods loving mercy, while knowing in our hearts that His boundary line of mercy is powerful enough to keep the difficult moments under control; then I know that we would be able to be more at peace, even while experiencing the difficult moments of life.
