Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! I truly hope and pray that you are experiencing an even better day than yesterday! As I look around me this morning…I am seeing the same things out my window…but in a different way than yesterday, which is a reminder to me that a new day of beginnings has now begun…praise God!!
As we begin our time together today, I would like to ask you a question…"Have you made a home with weakness or have you chosen to enter a different realm…one that can remove the load of weakness from you? You know…it's so easy to become acquainted with every symptom of a problem; that we don't even realize where they can lead us. As the problem begins to affect us deeply, we seem to grow impatient with God…the One who can give us the strength to enter a different realm with Him…one that can lessen the load of what we may be facing at the time.
As I was sitting here this morning…focusing on God's word; He began to lead me to a Bible verse in Isaiah 40:31, and we read… "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
One thing that God continues to remind me of; is to not remain focused on every detail of a problem…for this only causes me to reap from the problem. In other words…when we connect ourselves with a weak circumstance; then we too become weak…and from there, we experience a feeling of being overwhelmed and frustrated; and the more we experience these kinds of feelings…the weaker we become, until we have now found ourselves residing completely within those moments of weakness.
What God is saying to us today in Isaiah 40:31; is to first wait on Him…and not allow our thoughts and feelings to take us away with a weak circumstance; but rather, to allow our thoughts and feelings to be lifted above the weakness…with the strength that comes from a powerful God. We must always remember that we have been given a choice…we can either remain connected to what the weakness is conveying to us and allow it to keep us residing within these difficult times or we can wait on a God whose strength can help us to take flight above moments such as these. When we choose to look to God, rather than the weakness that is standing before us; that is when the weakness will no longer be able to take hold of us; but rather, we will be able to continue on with God's strength, even in the midst of the circumstance.
Today, I would like to encourage you to just slow down and see where you are right now in your life. Are you facing a weak circumstance…and has that weak circumstance taken hold of you, in a way that is attempting to keep you residing within weakness? If so, may I encourage you today to look up to God, rather than out to what is troubling you…and pray with a sincere heart, for God to come and allow His strength to lift you above these moments that are attempting to keep you caught up in weakness. One thing I know…when we call out to God; He will come running…to replenish the strength that's been lost through weakness…and His strength will help you to walk through the troubled times your facing, while remaining strong in Him…Amen!
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remember that God is only a prayer away!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
