Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! It's so good to be back with you today…and I pray that as we share some God inspired words together; that we will truly come to see that there is a way that can make the hard and difficult times of life much easier to face…Amen!!
Last night, as I was spending some time alone with God…I was also thinking on what I could share with you today. Many times, I write on what I learn throughout my day, as I face my own challenges in life; but something different actually happened last night. As I sat with pen and paper in hand; God actually began to encourage me. You see…a few days ago, I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the pain and tiredness in my body…to the place where I just didn't know if I could continue on with all that I do from day to day. Well…He saw that struggle and began to work with me last night…and from there He began to remind me…that the moment in which I feel overwhelmed with life; is only because I am looking at these struggles with a different view; then what He wants me to truly see them as.
You know…the struggles of pain and tiredness can sometimes begin from early morning and take me through the day, until my eyes close at night…and yes…these struggles are never easy to walk through; but one thing God reminded me of last night; is that I do have a companion…One in which I can share these difficult times with…One whose strong arms can hold me up…and even become a crutch of strength to lean on throughout the day. Just think…when we invite God to enter every moment of the day with us; we can reap from a wisdom that can walk us down easier paths, which can steer us away from other challenging obstacles.
As we face the struggles of a world that is slowly waxing away…we need a companion…One who can give us the strength to press on and never give up…and One that we can share our hearts with. In Psalm 23:1-4, we read… "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3) He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." I have truly come to see that when we allow the Lord to be our companion through the hard and difficult times of life; then we feel no need of anything…and He is always close by…to guard and guide us along the way.
You know…we all seem to face struggles in one form or another; but what makes a huge difference, while facing these difficult times…is who we choose to walk down these roads with…and one thing I can tell you today; is that I could never walk down the roads of struggle alone; for I need God's wisdom to point me in the right direction that can ease up on all I'm already facing. I also need Him to lean on, when I'm too weak to take another step…physically or emotionally…and even more, I need Him to listen to my heart and walk me through each struggle I face.
No matter what personal struggle we face…or no matter what we are experiencing in this world…God can make it easier; but first, we must invite Him into these times we're facing and let Him walk right beside us. I believe that once we choose to do so; that is when our view of the struggle won't seem so overwhelming…and from there, we will find the strength to continue on with Him.
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS know that God longs to be everything…for every thing you need!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
