Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Monday to you all! It's so good to be back with you! In fact…I think of you as my second family, with the website as my home away from home. What a great feeling to know that God is here to encourage us all each day and to give us the hope that can help us to keep pressing on, during the hard and difficult times of life! As we begin this time together, my prayer is that we will all leave this writing, with a feeling that our God truly understands…cares and loves us very much…Amen!!
Over the weekend, I was feeling a little more tired than usual…and when we are tired, it can be so easy to just want to give into everything and quit. Moments such as these can place us in a world of our own…feeling that no one could ever understand what we're going through at the time.
One thing that God has recently reminded me of; is that He does care when we are at our lowest…and how is it that He can truly understand and care for us, when others just don't seem to know what we're feeling at the time? The answer is that He is the One that made you and me; so He knows every little thing about us…especially the heart; and since He is the One who made us…it is Him, who can read every thought and feeling that is written on the tablet of the heart.
This morning, as I was looking through God's word, He led me to several Bible verses in Psalm 139:1-3, and we read… "O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2) Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3) Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways."
When others just can't seem to understand or connect to what we are going through at the time…there is a God who can. Just think…He is in the heavens; but yet He knows when we sit…when we rise…when we walk…and even the distance we may go, when we walk. In fact…He knows us in a way that no other could even begin to know or understand. He knows every thought we think, even before we speak a word…and when we have moments that make it impossible to pray or ask for His help…He already knows and is at work on our behalf.
I have to be honest with you…before going to bed last night, I was struggling with the thought of beginning another new week. Lately, I have had so much pain and tiredness in my body; that before I realized it…these things were attempting to convince me that it just wasn't going to happen…that is, until God read the tablet of my heart. As I laid my head on my pillow…with little to speak; I just said… "Lord help me"…and you know what…that was just enough to grab His attention; because this morning has gone a lot smoother than what I first thought it would.
As we face uncertain times, along with what we may already be facing…it can be so easy to want to give up and quit. The struggles in this life can attempt to convince us that we have journeyed as far as we are able to go; but you know what…I know a God who can kick into overdrive and take us to places in life that we never thought we could reach…and all we have to do is say… "Lord help me." In this way, we are letting go of everything, including the deceptive words that were meant to make us quit, which can open a way for God to enter and work on our behalf.
Today, if you are struggling to make it another day, may I encourage you to let go of everything except for God; for He already knows every broken moment you're facing…for He has known everything about you, since the very beginning.
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS know that you are NEVER alone in this lonely world!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
*If you haven't yet accepted Jesus into your heart…and have found the hope that can rescue your heart and save you from evil, I would encourage you to check out… "Come to Jesus."
