Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Friday to you all! Well…another week is coming to a close…and as we now begin to step into our weekend, I pray that we will ALWAYS remember that God is never too far away from any one of us…and that we can never be too broken for His help…Amen!!
Right now…during times such as these, we can feel so overwhelmed by all that is taking place around us…that we begin to feel as if God has abandoned us and left us in the hands of evil; but I'm here to remind you today that He is not a God who will ever abandon His own and leave us desolate, as orphans in this broken world; for He will ALWAYS be here for each of us…just as He promised His disciples in John 14:18, which reads… "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you."
You know…I will never forget a time in my life, when my own personal world was falling apart. At the time, I was facing multiple knee surgeries…depression, and counselling for a past sexual abuse…and through those difficult times, I felt abandoned and lost in a world of my own; and actually, there were even times when I felt as if there would be no end to what I was going through…and because I had been viewing these circumstances through a much different eye, than what God must have been seeing them as; I began to feel as if He had walked out on me…that is until He led me to this Bible verse in John 14:18. As I read and took hold of each word in this verse; that is when a glimpse of hope began to shine through the dark and broken world that I was residing in.
Recently, as I did a more in depth study on this Bible verse in John 14:18…I came to see how this verse was originally used to encourage Jesus' disciples, as they were about to see Jesus leave this world and resurrect into heaven. In fact…Jesus was reminding them; that even though they would no longer see Him in human form; that He would not leave them comfortless; but rather, He would be there for them in spirit.
In a similar way…life goes on for us to; and even though we face these different and difficult times…He is here for us…and He has promised to always be there for us in spirit…and to never abandon us or leave us alone as orphans in a desolate world.
Today…God has a message for all of us; and He wants us to know that no matter where this world may attempt to lead us…He is still there, in the shadows of this darkened world…and He is making a promise to us today; that He will ALWAYS be with us in spirit, until the very end…so ALWAYS know that you are not alone…and that nothing can be too broken for Him to fix.
As we close this time together, you may be struggling to face each day, in a world that is drastically changing with time. The thing that I would like to remind you of today; is that even though life in this world can seem hopeless…we do have a hope to hold to…and it's found in Deuteronomy 31:8, which reads… "And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed."
Have a very blessed day…and a great weekend…and I will hope to be with you again on Monday!
God bless you ALWAYS!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
*If you haven't yet accepted Jesus into your heart…and have found the hope that can rescue your heart and save you from evil, I would encourage you to check out… "Come to Jesus."
