Hello everyone…and a very happy and blessed Wednesday to you all! I hope and pray that you're having a very nice day…and that you will truly come to see through this God inspired writing; that God's perfect love can supersede any brokenness that you may experience in your life…and even in this world…Amen!!
You know…as each day goes by, we seem to be experiencing a world that is becoming more distant to us…compared to the way, in which we once viewed it. The easy carefree moments have now brought about moments that attempt to crush us in spirit…and even make us wonder what tomorrow may bring our way. Times such as these can break us and make us feel as broken as the world we're living in, which can also make us feel alone within our own world of thought.
We must remember that these are the moments that are pointing us in the direction of Christ's return; but at the same time, we must also remember that we don't have to look for freedom from this broken world in heaven alone; for God is in these moments to; for it says in Psalm 34:18 that… "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."
As I think on this today…I will never forget the time, when my own personal world became broken. I had just awakened to a past memory…of a time when my grandfather had sexually abused me…at around the age of 5 years old.
After returning home one day from a difficult session of group counseling; I found myself in my bedroom…crying, until there were no more tears to cry. As I sat numb on the bed…I remember saying to Jesus… "I just can't deal with this anymore." From there, I continued to sit on the bed in silence…ready to quit and give up; but as I continued to remain there; my eye was drawn to a Bible that was sitting on the other side of the bed. As I reached for it and began to open it; the first verse that I read, was this verse in Psalm 34:18. I'll tell you…when I read the words in this study bible that said… "The Lord is close to those whose hearts are breaking," I instantly found myself looking around the room; for it was after reading that passage in the Bible; that I somehow knew that Jesus was there in that room with me.
You know…there is something about experiencing a perfect love, as Jesus truly has for us…especially while living in this broken world. In fact…this seems to change a persons view on life; for I have come to truly see…that an encounter with Jesus…truly does help us to see this world in a much different way…one that allows fear to be replaced with peace…and one that gives us the assurance that everything is under His control, just as it has always been.
Right now, if you are experiencing anxiety and discouragement in this broken world; then may I encourage you to take a good hard look at your life…and go back to a time when you knew without a doubt that Jesus was there for you; and from there…let this be a reminder that He is there for you…even at this time. One thing I know for sure; is that when you relive these moments you once shared with Jesus; then this will become hope to you…and a great reminder; that your world isn't as broken as what you first thought; because there is a perfect love that has entered your world…and is closest to your broken heart.
Have a very blessed day…and ALWAYS remember that you are never alone in this broken world!
It's Always & Only Because of Him…
*If you haven't yet accepted Jesus into your heart…and have found the hope that can rescue your heart and save you from evil, I would encourage you to check out… "Come to Jesus."
